It is possible to collaborate with production units, companies in India but in cosmopolitan cities like Mumbai, there are a lot of constraints to put high school students in the work environment. Parents are skeptical and do not consent easily and companies also are not very open to accept the students. many of our under graduate students get such opportunities. in high school we arrange visits to factories, like Parle-G biscuit factory production units and also call the experts to classrooms to share their expertise.

There are examples of cooperation between companies and schools. Our students in the dual education system have a greater number of hours of practical tuition in companies. So, after the end of the education, they remain at workplaces where they have been practicing. There is a great need for CNC operators and similar occupations of the STEM area. Also, auto-mechanics students have good co-operation with auto workshops. Co-operation from companies holding lectures on new technologies, such as car diagnostics using a computer, is being carried out.

The university of Vila Real promotes a summer course for young people each year in June / July. There are internship programmes inside the curriculum but i do not think it is effective for students; at least it is not effective for them to develop real-life experiences. Many of some effective programmes are paid and the fees are quite high.
