Physical:

Rivers- Germany is home to two of the most important rivers in Europe: the Rhine and Danube. The Rhine runs over 1,232km (766mi) from its source the Swiss Alps. This river is important because it runs 820m from Swiss Alps to the north and east, and it connects to other waterways; making it a good river to transport goods and travel to places. The Danube is Europe's second largest river, with it being 1,800mi. This river starts in the Black Forest of southern Germany and passes through 16 countries before reaching the mouth of the river on the Black Sea's Romanian coast. This river is used for cruises that take people from Germany to Vienna and Budapest (Trent Jonas, Leaf Group).

Mountains- Zugspitze is the highest peak in the Bavarian Alps in Germany; at 10,000 feet. The following ranges protect deep woodlands such as the Thuringian Forest; the Rothaargebirge, Vogelsberg, Rhon and Harz (Trent Jonas, Leaf Group)

Coastlines- North of the plains, approaching Germany's coastlines on the Baltic and North Sea's; the land become marshier with marshes and mudflats (Trent Jonas, Leaf Group).

The website blow is where I got my information for physical place in Germany, and the map is showing on of Germany's major rivers.

How Humans Impact the Environment - Germany has a lot of environmental problems because of humans. The main problem is pollution. There is huge amounts of pollution in all of Germany's rivers and seas surrounding the country, especially Baltic Sea. East Germany is the most polluted in all of Germany because the communist government of the former East Germany never solved/cared about any of the environmental problems. Another environmental problem in Germany is their population size. Because their population is so high there is little room for wildlife. People in Germany have cut down large areas of forest, where wildlife live, to make room for the people in Germany. Germany has high levels of acid rain because of the pollution sent into the air by humans.
How the Environment Impacts Humans - Climate change has made Germany concerned because of how much the climate keeps changing. Like heat waves in summer are now becoming the "norm" for summers in Germany. Also, because of climate has made it harder to find water sources in Germany. Plate Tectonics have created mountain ranges, rivers, and more things in Germany.
The video below is informing you about the Aluminum Cycle in Germany.

Physical: Germany has three major regions: the plains, the uplands, and the highlands. The northern plains takes over half of the country, and has been eroded glaciers and rivers over thousands of years. A lot of the farm land of the plain is used for grazing cattle and sheep, this is because the soil is not very fertile. The uplands of central Germany are high, flat-topped areas with plateaux (steep sides). The uplands is mostly known for its gorgeous scenery; with fast-flowing rivers, small mountains, and wild woods. The highlands are located in southern Germany and take up part of the Alps; Alps is the largest mountain ranges in Europe. The highlands have the Black Forest and Danube River, this brings tourists to the highlands.
Human: Region if Germany is manmade features of Germany like cities, villages, and more.

Family: Families in Germany are nuclear; mother, father, and their kids. Germany doesn't believe in being an extended family, but if one person in the family needs help a relative will take them in and help them until able to live on their own. Most children will move out of the house when in a university or financially able to live on their own.
Gender Roles: Males in the family are usually the main provider for the family, but now things are evolving and the woman can now chose to work if they desire to. A woman is usually pregnant at 29 in Germany, and after having that kid become a stay at home mom. But now because things in Germany are evolving, women can now have a kid and still choose to work if desired to.

Marriage: People getting married in Germany have to do a "Standesamt", this is really all you need and a lot of people don't do anything after the Standesamt. For the Standesamt people don't have to bring a witness, and the cost is from €65 to €200. ($77.85-$239.55)
Social Classes: There is the upper-middle class, where people are wealthy but not to wealthy and poor but not to poor. Then there is the upper class, where people are very wealthy. Lastly, there is a lower class, where people are poor.
The picture to the left is showing the requirements for getting married in Germany.

Explanation of how each theme contributes to the creation and make-up of the country.

To have a country you have to five the 5 themes of geography, without it you have nothing but a piece of land with a name. Each part is vital to the country: location, place, movement, region, and HEI. Location is how people know how to get to the country to, and how that country and export/import goods. Without location no one would know where and how to get to that country, and that country would not be able to export/import goods. Place is what is on the countries like rivers, mountains, etc, and place also makes that country different from all the others with its celebrations, beliefs, etc. Without place the country would not have any significance, and it wouldn't stand out from other countries. Movement is what a country exports/imports, population details, and cultural diffusion. Without movement the people in the country wouldn't be cultured. The population would not change over time and would most likely slowly disappear with out migration. The country wouldn't have cultural diffusion, and the people in that country wouldn't know what it was like to fight for something the believed in. Region is physical features of a country like: highlands, lowlands, etc. Without region people wouldn't know where they can find resources in the country, and they wouldn't know where it would be best to build a city or village. HEI gives the people challenges with how they should adapt to the environment of a country, and it also gives people the responsibility to chose how they should change the environment to make it easier for them. Without HEI people wouldn't know what it was like to make the difficult decisions about doing things to change the environment, and people wouldn't understand that they can't always change everything to make it easy on them; they have to be able to adapt to things in life they can't change.

Description of how each of the elements impacts each other.

The elements are: HEI, movement, location, region, and place. These five elements impact each other in a lot of different ways. location impacts movement because people have limitation of what they can import/export depending on location. Population of a country also is impacted by location, place, and region because some people don't like a certain location, people might disagree with the religion or government of a country, and people might not be able to live in a country because of the region. All these reasons impact movement. HEI impacts region and place because if the people made wrong decisions on how to change the environment could effect or damage the place or region of a country. All the elements impact each other because a bad location can impact movement, a bad movement can impact place, a bad place can impact HEI, a bad HEI can impact region. A bad location can impact movement with a low population, low import.export, and a little to no cultural diffusion. A bad movement can impact place by effecting how good the government and economy is, the belief system, and more. A bad place can impact HEI because people can change the environment in a bad way like: pollution, over population, etc. A bad HEI can impact region because if the HEI is over populated that means resources from region will start to disappear, and high pollution can effect region by damaging the lowlands, highlands, etc.
