Participation often relies heavily on whether the students are grasping the topic. I believe that Google Sites would be a great tool for students in Social Studies classes to have access to extra resources and information. Discussion from what the students learned or watched on the Class site could be expanded upon in class. Videos like the one below would be useful to include in the site.

Maybe QR codes to get some movement. Most Social Studies classes are sedimentary and as a student who seriously only learns by doing, it can be agonizing.

The technology that I believe would be helpful to increase student participation in class would may be playing a game like Kahoot so students would be in a competition to try and get the most correct answers.
