1. There are no labels on the vertical axis, which gives us no values to compare amongst the years.
2. This graph's slanted, three-dimensional perspective skews our view of the data by not giving us a clear view of the differences between the years.
3. The title is unclear and vague, which is confusing and makes the date difficult to interpret.

1. While the Horizontal axis supposedly displays years, months, then specific date, it is not defined and therefore the labels are carelessly vague.
2. The spacing on the graphs is also inconsistent to both each other and the horizontal labels, making the graph quite confusing.
3. The title of the graph may be acceptable but there should be a further defining subtitle that clarifies the relationship between Grasshopper Tests and the altitude data provided on the chart. Also the time set should be included in the Title.

1. This graph is misleading because it does not start at 0. In fact, the "No" column is too low to even register on the given y-axis.
2. The "Yes" column of the graph does not accurately represent 85%, but instead is set at 110, whereas the "No" column is so low that it is difficult to interpret. The heights of the columns are inaccurate and very misleading.
3. The title does not give information as to the population being polled.

Misleading Graph

1. This graph does not start the y-axis at 0, which immediately makes slight changes (like 75% to 82%) seem like much larger jumps.
2. The design using books is poorly illustrated, as they only use 5 books to portray 75% but 10 books to illustrate 78%, doubling the number of books for only a 3% increase.
3. The varying heights of the stacks of book are not proportionate to their data, such as how the increase from 78% to 79% graduation rate changes by four books and thus a very visible change in height, but a similar 1% increase from 81% to 82% doesn't change in book number or height at all.

1. Both the vertical and horizontal axes are properly established and the numbers on both are at intelligible intervals that are simple to follow.
2. Each year's rate shown is clearly defined by shades of color and has a key making the data easily understandable to the reader.
3. The title provided is perfectly unambiguous, as it includes the entire set and time; and then also supplies a clarification of who is included in the data set. This clarification can be essential in correctly identifying whose data is being shown on the graph.
