In verse 20, did the son apologize when the father went out to meet him? What does this tell us about a father's attitude toward a child's mistake?No, the son did not apologize. This tells us that the father was not mad about the mistake and was willing to still love him and be his father. What does this tell us about the love a parent can have for their child?This tells us that the love of a parent can have for their child is never ending.  Do you think the father was to blame in this situation?No and yes, I think the younger son is to blame becuse he was the one that messed up and his dad is approving of that behavior.

Even though you might be against someone help beacuse that is the right thing to do. What reasons do you think they might have had for walking by on the other side?Some resons I think that they walked on the other side becuase the sumarians and jews would usaually not help each other.
