The colour scheme used, suggest mistery. 
The brushstrokes are thin and thick in different directions. It's  a cubist painting because it represents a woman from differents points of view in a very strange way. By the contrast ,the palette used in the painting, incorporates a lot of colors like red,yellow,blue,orange....
