Kids complete a section, receive a "check" from me, then move on to the next section. Guidelines/instruction needed are available in the room and additional documents are attached as they are completed. When kids complete their projects, the entire packet goes home with the project. We only did two of these projects last year, and for the first one, we did not complete Peer Critiques or an Artist Statement. I will tweak a little for this year, but the general idea will stay the same.

This would have involved asking students if I could keep their artwork over the summer. It also would have taken several days, as students seldom agree to that. Instead, I created an interactive display using QR codes (provided by the app and good regardless of archiving of classes) to their works in their digital portfolios. The codes printed with a color  thumbnail image of their work in the middle. I matted and labeled them, also colorfully. Viewers were invited to scan the codes to see the artwork on their devices.
