I am 53 years old and the mother of 4 children, two grandchildren. I've recently decided to go back to school to finally get a degree that I have wanted for some 25 years now. Life just seems to have gotten in the way up until now. I'm excited about this new chapter in my life and can't wait to see where this road leads. I currently work full time at a local school district in the board office. I also volunteer often, and now I get to add a full-time student to my list of things to do.

Though this picture is pretty old, it's still one of my favorites and one of the few of all of us together. I'm no longer married to their father, but we're still good friends and very much still a family.
