         <description><![CDATA[<div>Assignment: Estimate the range of Tg of an polymeric ski boot that is elastic at room temperature, and stiff when it’s cold.<br><br></div><div>Answer: <br> Let’s say room temperature is 19 degrees Celsius , and cold is 0 degrees<br> The Tg is the glass transition temperature. That means that Tg is the process (in temperature) that the polymer has to go from stiff till elastic.<br><br></div><div>So the range of the Tg of the polymeric ski boot will be from +/- 3 degrees  till 15 degrees. Because the boot still has to be stiff at 0 degrees , and the boot already has to be elastic at 19 degrees <br><br></div>]]></description>
