<title> My favorite part of the book is when Paula dies, because it is very moving the way Allende describes her pain, but also the value of a mother to let go her daughter. I cried and could learn a grand lesson when she doesn’t lose hope despite everything. The main weakness of the book might be that some readers would accuse of sentimentalism, but I disagree with that, because for me every sentence, every paragraph can be felt by the reader. </title>

<title>Paula is Isabel Allende&#39;s most moving, most personal and most intimate book. Paula was the daughter of Isabel Allende. She suddenly lapsed into a coma from which she never recovered. &quot;I love you too, Mama,&quot; Paula murmured, just before that. Next to the bed in which her daughter Paula was dying, the author wrote the story of her family and of herself with the purpose of giving it to Paula when she overcame the dramatic trance. For me, this is a book where Allende describes all her losses, not just her daughter&#39;s.Because the author masterfully through her personal history tells us, about the difficult situation that Chile had to face with the dictatorship. </title>

<title> I could feel her passion for life and for her family, much more evident in this novel, than on any of the other books of her collection that I have had the privilege to read. I really think it is a beautiful and a very well-written book that leaves us a lot to learn about the happiest and saddest times in the life of a human being. This book is written by an incredibly talent writer. I would strongly recommend it. </title>
