By creating Aqua, it's helped him as a perfomer well-round his talent on stage. Also he noticed, when he's off stage, he feels more stronger as a human being as well, because Aqua is his inspiration. Also based on Kelly S. story, why he's do drag is because, he loved when drag performance can play with a mix of masculine and feminine highlighting beautiful and creative ways to express gender. Drag has become a way that Kelly can play with femininity in comfortable ways.

Dorce Gamalama (Dedi Yuliardi Ashadi) as known as Dorce's mother was born in Solok, West Sumatra, 21 July 1963. He is a transgender woman, works as an entertainer / comedian in Indonesia. 

It was all started in junior high school when he focused on his carrier, he also began to realize his tendency to be attracted to women. He also uses this to make his appearance on the stage even more attractive, namely comedy by pretending to be a woman. It was then that she got the nickname of Myrna.

Feeling more and more trapped in a man's body, he then decided to undergo sex change surgery to become a woman. This was done in Surabaya. Despite opposition from various parties, this was also widely reported by the mass media and made Dorce even more famous. After appearing on the Surabaya regional station TVRI, he also began to appear on TVRI central Jakarta and was invited to appear in various cities in Indonesia.

Transition is a process of change that is generally undertaken by trans individuals to obtain the required body image and identity. It is to live up to society's standards that influences transgender friends to make the transition.
In making the transition is to be aware, understand, and enjoy every process. Being aware means making decisions of one's own will, not people's will. Understanding means gathering sufficient and accountable information before making decisions, as well as making careful planning and preparation.
They build a body image based on societal standards, and are willing to do many things to achieve it. Body talk or reflection can remind a person of every little milestone he has achieved.
From the experiences of our transgender friends, we can learn that there is nothing wrong with having a body image, including an image that fits the image of society. Besides that, there is nothing wrong with doing various things so that body image can be achieved. However, in every process carried out, the most important thing is to be diligent in reflecting and of course: put yourself first.

Of course this is not an easy thing to do because this includes a person's time, physical and medical. Many people are rejected by their families, social circles, and society because they are making the transition. This rejection can result in a person experiencing gender dysphoria (formerly known as' gender identity disorder) in which a person experiences stress and pressure as well as an inability to carry out daily social activities which reduce the quality of the person's mental health. One of them who received rejection was Dena Rachama or previously known as Renaldy Rachman, a former child singer in the 1990s. She admitted that her behavior as a woman began to appear since she was in junior high school. As a teenager, she was kicked out by her parents because her desire to become a woman was disapproved of. However, after all this time, the parents gave permission for their children to change sex to women because the mother could not stand it if the child felt tortured and 'trapped' in the body of a man named Renaldy. This makes him even more confident to have a shoe business that is sold in several elite shops in the modern trading center of Jakarta.
This shows that local support is very helpful in this gender transition process.

Gender transition or transition is the period when an individual changes his gender role to another gender role that is different from the one that was designated for him at birth. This process generally includes physical and medical aspects as well as social and legal aspects.

Some people simply cannot accept the existence of transgender and transsexual people. The opposition to transgender and transsexual people in society is still very strong. Negative stereotypes are still embedded in this group.

Although the community cannot fully accept the existence of transgender people, respondents still hope that there is mutual respect between communities.

LGBT in Indonesia is still a taboo subject, especially for groups whose thoughts are based on religion. Most of them blasphemed the behavior and sexual orientation of this LGBT group. The MUI even issued a fatwa rejecting the practice of sexual relations and marriage.

To be (lgbt) Transgender in my opinion is an effort that is not easy and it is the choice of each person, of course, but it is not good, like not being grateful for what God has given to himself.


Practices and Attitudes Toward LGBT Groups

In general, LGBT groups in Indonesia still experience a lot of violence and citizenship in employment and living opportunities. Meanwhile, those who were successful also experienced discriminatory treatment such as being humiliated, shunned, threatened, and experienced physical violence.

LGBT groups generally expect a more balanced and fair treatment from the community, they want sexual orientation and sexual behavior that do not become obstacles for them in society, achieving and contributing to development.

An example of a transgender artist, Geby Vesta, who participated in the Miss International Queen event, and received the title of Miss Congeniality. he proved that being transgender does not always have negative connotations and can bring the nation's name to the international.
It is aimed at holding this contest to raise awareness of transgender rights among the international community.

I think right now is that we have to have a tolerant attitude or attitude towards the rights of the LGBT community but tolerance does not mean legalized.

Drags is a place for someone to express themselves or something different from themselves to the public.  Drags performance can mix masculine and feminine highlighting beautiful and have creative ways to express gender.  In my opinion, drags is a place for someone to express the art that is in him regarding gender.  Gender is very broad, and in my opinion it should not be limited because of masculine and feminine.  Gender freedom is displayed through this performance in comfortable ways.
Drags is different from gender transition. When drags is an art performance they dress up as different gender from their own, in the other hand transitioning is the process of changing the way you look and how people see and treat you so that you become the gender you feel on the inside. Gender transition have three different aspects : Social transition, Medical transition, and legal transition.
