Proclamation Line of 1763

After winning the French & Indian war, colonists had began moving in the western colony. But, before they were able start moving in King George had set the Proclamation line, so the colonists couldn't move in. So it had angered colonists and colonists started to think that he didn't want to grow, he just only wanted the profit.

Sugar Act 1764

A text had been set on all the sugar/molasses products, And it upscaled the price to be imported to the colony. This started to make colonists mad.

Stamp Act 1765

Townshed Act 1767

Boston Massacre 1770

The colonists started to riot and harass the British soldiers. Soon later shots had let out and five men had been killed, when the British soldiers thought they had been fired upon, this had enraged the colonists.

Following on after the Tea act, a tax had set on the import duties of sea for the colonists. Sons of liberty had disguised themselves and boarded the ships with tea and threw it all overboard.

Coercive Acts 1774

This was a series of law to punish colonists for the Boston Tea Party. This act had took some of the colonists basic rights away. The two colonies to action and decided they wanted the British government to boycott all their goods and stop trade.

Quartering Act 1775

The author Thomas Paine, had wrote a small a small piece in his book on why he thinks America should be independent. He used some of John Locke's ideas. This book had sold up to 500,000 copies.

Declaration Of Independence

After the book "Common Sense" had been published, A lot of the Second Continental Congress had agreed with Thomas Paine's visions. They had wanted to do something and had all collectively decided they had wanted to be all free, and with Thomas Jefferson. Soon then the Declaration Of independence had been born. On July 4th, 1776.
