From the Historical Time Period

I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH:
http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/mlkihaveadream.htm
Summary:
A very motivational and moving speech about African American rights. King used great techniques to grab the attention of the people. He repeated many things (such as "I have a dream") to get a point across, had passion for the subject, and prepared the speech beforehand (not just winging it). King preached about having equal rights for all and to live in a world of prosperity.

I AM PREPARED TO DIE SPEECH:
http://www.historyplace.com/speeches/mandela.htm
Nelson Mandela gave a three hour long speech about fighting for equality. He wants a world where all colors can be equal. He doesn't want African Americans to have more power, just to have the same opportunities as everyone else.

From a Retrospective POV

From Black Power To The Assassination Of Martin Luther King:
https://www.britannica.com/event/American-civil-rights-movement/From-black-power-to-the-assassination-of-Martin-Luther-King
This article was written on January 27, 2017, and summarizes the African American Civil Rights Movement. It does a great job of explaining what happened, tying in King's assassination, and tying the whole movement to the present.

BLACK CIVIL RIGHTS THROUGHOUT HISTORY:
http://exhibitions.nypl.org/africanaage/essay-civil-rights.html
This article does a great job of showing at different times in history how African Americans were treated and what rights they had and gained over the course of many years.

Blacks have made many economic and educational gains, but progress still falls short.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/01/19/civil-rights-act-progress/4641967/
Summarizes the great gains African Americans have made with their rights. The thing that makes this article very special is that it includes polls, shows what African Americans have also lost, and shows African American's standings today.
