         <title>Berlin Blockade/Airlift: June 24, 1948 - May 12, 1949</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Berlin Blockade was made by the Soviet Union to stop the Ability of the US, Britain, and France to get to their parts of Berlin.          <title>Korean War June 1950 - July 1953</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Fidel Castro had overthrown Cuba's old dictator, Fulgencio Batista, and America was worried because Cuba's previous dicator had been Pro-American, and anticommunist. Officials in the US, and CIA tried to push Castro out of power, and failed.          <description><![CDATA[<div>During 1972, US President Richard Nixon and USSR President Leonid Brezhnev met in Moscow to sign the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) agreements, which was an attempt to control nuclear weapons.
