         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. The language that the majority of Jordanians speak is Arabic. The Arabic spoken in Jordan is spoken in three varieties which are: urban, rural, and Bedouin Jordanian.<br>2. Arabic is a part of the Proto-Semitic language family. Arabic is a part of the Arabo-Canaanite sub-branch language branch. Arabic is a part of the Afro-Asiatic language group.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. About 92% of Jordanians practice Islam and are Sunni Muslim. The Islam religion is not indigenous, it was brought by invaders and then diffused from Jordan.<br>2. The Islam religion is a universalizing religion.<br>3. The Islam religion is monotheistic. Muslims worship by following the acts of the five pillars of Islam. These acts include: reciting their profession of faith, praying five times a day, giving a tax of alms to the poor, fasting during the month of Ramadon and making a pilgrimage to Mecca. The Islamic sacred text is called the Qur'an. The Islamic place of worship is called a mosque. Another religious architecture of the Islamic religion is called a madrasah. Islamic architecture has many Chritian architectural features which include: domes, columns, arches, and mosaics. Arabs originate from the Arabian Peninsula. Armenians are people who once lived in the Caucus Mountains. Armenian is the official language of this ethnicity and they practice Christianity. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Women in Jordan are controlled by the closest male in their family. Gender segregation is commonly found in Jordan. Their are limited interactions between men and women. However, despite the limitations women have made social progress. Now in Jordan more girls are being educated and more women are finding work. Although, women in school and in the workplace are still few women are taking strides towards changing that for the better.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
