         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is the European musical style, related to the homonymous cultural period. It covers approximately from the birth of the opera around 1600 until the death of Johann Sebastian Bach, in 1750. <br>Characteristics:<br>- The monody: A single melody with instrumental accompaniment.<br>- The continuo: It is a line of serious notes that is interpreted in an uninterrupted way from the beginning to the end of the composition. The main melody is accompanied by those simple bass notes.<br>- Establishment of tonality and rhythm.<br>- Birth of the concerted style: It is a resource to give more expressiveness to the music wing. The Baroque seeks the contrast.<br>- Policoralism: It is about relating up to 12 voices or more</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>He was a French baroque composer whose work was of the highest quality in different genres.<br>It reached the great public of the twentieth century through the "Te Deum" H 146 (in key of Re Major), whose prelude, a rondo, has served as header or tuning for television programs distributed through the Eurovision network and especially known for being precisely the opening of the Eurovision Festival.<br>He began to study painting in Rome, but Giacomo Carissimi inclined his vocation towards music.<br>Charpentier made in his work the synthesis of Italian and French traditions, especially in the field of sacred vocal music, to which his famous Te Deum belongs.</div>]]></description>
