This can be done by ensuring that different groups of people from different races live together, be it in the same block or living as neighbours. Although the Ethnic Integration Policy is already implemented, it can be further developed to reach out to private estates instead of just public housing. Targeting these private housing like landed properties or condominiums, should the majority of singaporeans be able to learn,adapt and co-exist with people of different races; to make friendships and bonds with people unalike themselves, and slowly start to understand belief systems that may not be prevalent in singapore.This  mitigates the first problem which is the lack of individuality with the addition of more immigrants, as if we are able to successfully coexist with one another, we may start appreciating and adopting each other’s differences in norms and values. While still preserving Singapore’s individuality, we may also begin to share similarities and find a common ground in which unique identities can still nonetheless be retained through integration efforts.

Singapore is vulnerable to foreigners exploiting religious fault lines in our society, or imposing values which may not be appropriate for us and may undermine our religious harmony through our religious organisations. They can exert influence and control on our religious organisations through holding leadership positions, donations or their affiliations with the organisations. To safeguard our religious organisations against foreign influences which might adversely affect our religious harmony religious organisations will need to comply with the  leadership requirements. The President, Secretary and Treasurer have to be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

People of different races would be able to get together and build ties with each other through common experiences. They will put aside their differences and interact with each other, and after that party their relationship will be strengthened by the happy memories. On top of that, they will be able to clear up any misconceptions or misunderstandings about the different races. For example, the Chinese race will interact with the Indian race and can attempt to understand and learn more about each other's history, culture and social norms.

By believing and living by the shared values, it would ensure the success of integration in Singapore. One of the 5 national values of singapore talks about racial and religious harmony which stresses the importance of maintaining racial and religious harmony in Singapore as it is fundamental to the nation’s well-being. We should learn how to look past our differences and beliefs so that a harmonious nation can be preserved for the nation’s progress. For example, when we have foreigners as our neighbours, we can be more courteous and not judge them so quickly. When we are celebrating our traditional festivals or practising some routine, we can be mindful of the way we behave and be inclusive towards them like by inviting them over and sharing with them all about the festival and letting them feel included into the society. What goes around comes around. When we are kind and inclusive to others, they will be too and that's when they will be able to feel accepted into the society and this will ensure the success of integration in singapore.

Through this, Singaporeans, foreigners, and immigrants will gain more understanding of each other.
