Here in the BVI we are so fortunate to have so many different cultures and nationalities represented at our school. It truly is an island "melting pot". I can't even begin to count the number of times I have been teaching and a student has raised their hand and made a connection between them and their home country. It is absolutely amazing to see students making connections and still feeling as if they are a part of their country of origin even though they have moved.
