         <description><![CDATA[<div>the pacific ocean hatcheries suddenly die out, all of the young oysters die out till there are none left. no new oysters were being born at over 4 hatcheries. 3 of the 4 closed because of a large percentage drop of 60%. the industries were on edge. in a few years they would not be able to bring shellfish to the market.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>as the bad oyster years went on, the farmers and scientists realized the big truth behind the oyster farms. the ocean acid was rising and killing all of the oysters in its path. it is getting worse as we sit here and do nothing about this disaster just waiting to happen underneath the surface.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the deadly water that was mentioned in<strong> landscape and harmful enemies </strong>is located off of Washington, Oregon, and California. this is the result of the CO2 that entered the water 20-30 years ago. even if burning fuel stops making CO2 immediately the chemistry in the west coast sea would still get worse before leveling off. it takes about 30-50 years for the worst of the damage to reach the surface.</div>]]></description>
