         <title>Equality</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Although everyone has different lives and different ways of thinking, but the people are more similar than different.  <br>1)  At the movie theater Cherry and Ponyboy talked and learn they are similar than different. (p.31)<br>2) Darry and Ponyboy talked and they knew on there mind, they are thinging each other and  love each other. (p.84)<br>3) before the Socs and Greaser's rumble, Randy and Ponyboy talked at Randy's car, they learn about each other and they learn they are similar. (p.97)<br>In outsiders by S.E Hinton,  the Socs  and Greasers also between Ponyboy, Sodapop and Darry shows that everyone is different and everyone has different background but all the people are similar than different.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Perspectives </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning other people's perspectives will help you understand them and or their actions in a way you might not have understood before.<br>1)   Ponyboy not understanding that Dally loves him and only want to keep him safe(page 3, 7, 45). But in the end of the book Ponyboy realized Dally hasn't had any experience with caring for anyone (page 84)<br>2) Cherry being a spy for the greasers (page. 72) Although Cherry is a Soc she want to help Ponyboy who thought she did it for charity but she did it because she liked Ponyboy (page. 110).<br>3) People not understanding Dally and how he is a hero. People think that Dally is a hoodlum thought he was actually a hero, he saved Johnny from a burning building because he loved him and for no other reason. He was devastated that Johnny died and that is the reason he died (page 131 ). <br>(my dog is the golden retriever. Her name is Ginger. The other dog is named Sonny he is my cousin's dog)</div>]]></description>

Hinton, Johnny, Ponyboy and Darry make giant sacrifices but for good reasons. <br><br>1) Darry sacrifices is future and college to stay home and take care of ponyboy so he can go far in his life and go to college. (p.92)<br><br>2)By Killing Bob and saving himself and Ponyboy, johnny sacrifices his future.(p. 49)<br><br>3)By going into the burning church Johnny and ponyboy sacrifice their life to save the children.&nbsp;(p. 78)</div>]]></description>

         <title>Sticking Together</title>

"(pg 64)<br><br>2 Darry could be a Soc, but is loyal to his greaser family. (pg 108) "In spite of not having much<br>money, the only reason Darry couldn't be a Soc was us. The gang. Me and Soda.          <title>Death (I know it sounds dark and depressing)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It doesn't matter how one arrives at death ,by conflict,sacrifice,or suffering, what is always true is that there will always be people who are left behind that will suffer as a result.<br>1)Johnny kills Bob, and as a result Bobs mother is scarred and extremely sad.(p. 49)<br>2)Another example is when Johnny sacrifices himself and leaves the gang, especially Dally really sad. (p.127)<br>3) One final example is when dally on purpose doesn't load his gun so that the cops will shoot him and he will commit suicide (p.131)<br>In <em>The Outsiders </em>by S.E Hinton, there are many deaths that leave many people to suffer.</div>]]></description>

When Darry "jammed his fists into his pockets", we can see that he actually cares a ton for Ponyboy, he feels strong emotions for his family.<br>2. When Dally started to talk about his past in jail to Johnny and Ponyboy, we can see how he felt about the experience and how he doesn't want people that he cares for get hurt like he did.<br>3. When Johnny bought a book, back from the grocery store in thought of killing time. This showed his thoughtfulness.</div>]]></description>

(pg. 60-62)<br><br>2) Even in his last moments, Johnny he chooses to try and help Dally by writing a letter to him about the goodness of the world, instead of finding all the bad things about it. (pg. 178)<br><br>3) Soda is always willing to help Ponyboy, even when Darry gets upset at him. (pg. 50)<br><br>In <em>The Outsiders, </em>by S.E. Hinton, many examples of loyalty are displayed, such as Dally helping Ponyboy and Johnny escape to the country, Johnny writing good things about the world, and Soda always being there for Ponyboy. Dally is brave when he takes credit for braking the school windows even though he knows he might go to jail. (pg. 65)<br>2. Johnny and Pony boy go into the church that is on fire and they don't even know who or if there are kids inside. (Pg. 79)<br>3. Also Johnny turns himself in for killing Bob. He shows that he is brave in this way because he does it so that no one else will be get in trouble and so that the other greasers know where Johnny and Pony are.</div>]]></description>

Darry not going to collage so that Ponyboy and Sodapop don't have to go to a boys home. <br>In The outsiders by S.E. Hinton, many of the characters, including Johnny, Ponyboy, Darry,&nbsp; and Dally display great bravery, but only Johnny and Ponyboy are recognized for it. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>THEME</strong> Hardships are everywhere and everyone experiences them; however, it is the way you deal with your hardships that defines you.<br><br><strong>1 </strong>Greasers are always found guilty even if they are innocent and have to find there way around things differently how from Socs would. "'We gotta get outa here.<br>Get somewhere. Run away. The police'll be here soon.' I was trembling, and it wasn't all<br>from cold" (50).<br><strong>2 </strong>Johnny dies and nobody knows how to react "Whirling suddenly, he slammed back against the wall. His face contracted in<br>agony, and sweat streamed down his face.<br>'Damnit, Johnny...' he begged, slamming one fist against the wall, hammering it to make it obey his will. 'Oh, damnit, Johnny, don't die, please don't die...'<br>He suddenly bolted through the door and down the hall" (127).<br><strong>3</strong> Dally dies due to the death of Johnny "But I knew that was what he wanted, even as the lot echoed with the cracks of shots, even<br>as I begged silently--- Please, not him... not him and Johnny both ---I knew he would be<br>dead, because Dally Winston wanted to be dead and he always got what he wanted."<br><br><strong>THESIS</strong> In <em>The Outsiders </em>by<em> </em>S.E.Hinton, Johnny, Dally, and the event where they kill Bob all have different impacts which result in drastic changes to their life impacting their future.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

How the boys try to look their best before the rumble (135)<br>Thesis: Your whole life you are taught that what you wear doesn't mean anything about whats on the inside, but <em>The</em> <em>Outsiders </em>has many&nbsp; statements and incidents that challenge that.</div>]]></description>
