I think in my view in the picture, is that the "Redcoats" are being a boss at the colonists.

I agree with Tavin but the British Redcoats fired in unarmed mob of colonists and those were the first shot of the American Revelution to me,but 2 of the British redcoats were guilty of firing so they got branded ,but the weird thing was John Adams was a patriot but he worked with the Redcoats because he thought they shot for self defence.

I think the Redcoats just randomly shot at the colonist when they wern't armed in the picture. One of the British soldiers accidently shot because someone hit him to the ground so... Still why would the Redcoats hurt the colonist when they didn't do anything. I just think they all should be arrested cause they killed about 4-5 people in that picture. They just murdered them.:(

i think that they did the right thing because the croud was throuing clubs at them and thay shot on perpis and the croud was unarmed!

I believe that it all started by accident and the Redcoats are not guilty because it was an act of self defense. One of them got hit by a club and fell down discharging the gun. And that was the signal for the other Redcoats to start shooting.

In my opinion I think that it all started out as an accident. The person that accidentally shot got hit by a club and fell to the ground while he accidentally pulled the trigger. This is how it all began. After everybody heard the gun shot they thought it was a signal to shoot. The worst part about it is that the colonists were not armour.

I think the redcoats are just protecting themselves and it was all an accident...They were confused when they heard the gunshot and thought that it meant to shoot the colonists...I think this proves the redcoats are innocent...Well...Until the war stared... -Julissa ;)

I believe the British were trying to protect themselves and they fired by accident.I think the Red Coats should not of brought there weapons cause the Colonist got more mad and it ended up that five or more people were killed.. First, he might have been hit with a club in the head but it is not right  to shoot at unarmed people, especially at somebody who didn't do it. Secondly the colonist were drunk which made them kinda crazy. The right way to deal with this situation is to leave ,or  you could put down the weapons to show you are not threatening them.I think that the Colonist  would not go to the pub cause King George made a price on sugar so the Colonist could not be able to add sugar to there rum.Why would the Colonist be drinking at war time????? I think that the patriot John Adams should not have stood up for the Brittish officers because although a noise went off he should not have fired. He should have checked with them first. Brody Roberts

I think the redcoats aren't guilty because one of the Colonist hit one of the redcoats with a club and he fell to the ground then he fired so the redcoats thought that was a signal to start shooting.
