7 Shocking Nostradamus Prophecies for 2017

The video below is of 7 'shocking' prophecies that Nostradamus supposedly predicated to take place this year. These prophesies range from talk of World War 3, to the merging of the Koreas and falling of Kim Jong Un, a truce between the Ukraine and Russia, and implications that Trump will be the one to start the wars. While listening to these predictions, admittedly some of them did get me thinking, but the best word I think describes them is "vague". The Red Flags in these prophecies would definitely be confusion of correlation with causation, and ancient wisdom. When given such vague predictions such as the ones in this video, it's no surprise that most people read way too into what was actually said and then end up making their own wild connections/assumptions. Ancient wisdom is a red flag as well because Nostradamus was a prophet from many many years ago; inclining many to believe that because of that simple reason that he is wiser than us and therefore, right.

5 Nostradamus predications that came true

This video does a run down of 5 Nostradamus predictions that came true. The predictions were of: The London fire, the rise of Hitler/WW2, 9/11 and the assassinations of the JFK brothers. The biggest Red Flag to jump out at me was confirmation bias. Yes, this is a video about the predications that "came true" that Nostradamus said, but why hasn't anyone discussed the wrong predications? While searching for videos I have yet to find one that is titled "Nostradamus predictions that were wrong". He has an entire book full of prophecies and yet you don't ever hear about the ones that could not be connected to anything because of how inaccurate they were. Very interesting. It should also be noted that these supposed "true" predications are, as you can probably guess, very vague. The only one that is some what close is the Hitler (Hister) prediction, but I guess it would depend on how you infer this information.

A few prophecies Nostradamus predicted that apparently came true last year. Watching this video, I noticed that a prediction claiming to have already came true in 2016, was also mentioned in a previous video posted- 'The 7 Nostradamus prophecies for 2017'. The prediction about Russia and the Ukraine. These two countries did not make a mends in 2016, so right off the bat this video seems to not be very credible or accurate.

A war over global warming and increased space tourism, what Nostradamus predicted for 2017

This article from The Sun lists and discusses some predications Nostradamus made for 2017. The Red Flags for this article are proof of verbosity and ancient wisdom. In many of his predications he steers clear from detail, using vague wording instead. In a prediction he talks about "hot wars"-does not mention global warming specifically at all, yet people connect this transparent prediction to the rising temperatures we now face. This can also be a confusion of correlation with causation.

11 shockingly accurate Nostradamus predictions

Many of the previous predictions already covered in posts were also discussed in this article. Out of all the prophecies, a new one of Nostradamus that I hadn't heard of before was the prediction of Louis Pasteur and his influence in the scientific community. The prediction is :" the lost thing is discovered, hidden for many centuries. Pasteur will be celebrated almost as a God-like figure". Although it's very easy to confuse correlation with causation with these predictions, this one says Pasteur by name. People even refer to Pasteur as "the Father of Microbiology", that could tie in with the statement about him being celebrated as a God-Like figure.

Nostradamus: Internet Sacred Text Archives

This site has both an English and a French version of Nostradamus' book: "The Prophecies". Reading through these predictions, there is definitely the Red Flag proof of verbosity. This book is filled with little 2-5 sentence predictions; for each century there are many different predictions for it. Many of the predictions don't even make sense and are so ambiguous. I feel like Nostradamus intentionally wrote his predictions this way because he knew each person would perceive it differently, giving him a higher chance of being right with his predictions..

Drawings of 9/11

Found in the Lost book of Nostradamus, this drawing is thought to have been a depiction of 9/11. Realistically, this is just a picture of a burning castle tower. There is one building standing on its own- unlike the twin towers that were directly side by side. If this was a drawing prediction of 9/11 then why is there only one building? This tower also seems like it's on fire due to an inside stimuli, not cause it got hit by a plane; like the world trade centres did. A reason for belief in this drawing could be Patternicity.
