I traveled to Grand Canyon 3 years ago, when my mother, sister, and I was visiting our cousins in the US. Except for Illinois and other states in the Midwest, none of us has ever been to other parts of the States, thus our aunt and uncle planned a road trip to show us America's notable sites such as Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

On the 11th day of our road trip, we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon National Park.

The Grand Canyon was created over about 5 million years through erosion, and many say that the canyon is still changing to this day. Therefore, if one takes a picture of the canyon and compares it to the canyon 10 years ago, those two pictures would be very different.

There were so many breathtaking sites in this phenomenal place. However, if I have chosen, the most memorable part of the trip, I would say that it was when my mom, sister, and I hiked down to a cliff. That specific part was memorable because, on the cliff, one could see the amazing view of the canyon. There was no safety equipment, such as stairs or fences. Thus, it was very dangerous. I think that was what made that visit more memorable since after I fight back my fear of height, I was able to observe the spectacular site of the National Park.

My trip to the Grand Canyon was a phenomenal experience. Through that trip, I was once again amazed by the power of Mother Earth. If I have the chance, in the future, I'd love to visit that place again so that I would be able to compare my past picture of the canyon to the current one, to see what has changed over the years. 

 The first time that visited Gyeongju was 5 years ago. When I was 10 years old, it was the time that my passion for history was most boiled. As I study history more and more, I saw the word Gyeongju many times because It was the capital of Silla. So, I want to go to Gyeongju and I asked my parents that I want to receive a trip to Gyeongju for my present  of children's day. So, in May 2016, My family visited Gyeongju to learn the history of Silla.

 My first destination for the Gyeongju trip was Donggung and Walji. I visited that place at night and it was wonderful. The night view of Donggung and Walji was the best view that I had seem before. But my little sister, who was three years old at that time, spent in the car for a long time and walking made her tried. So I was very disappointed but my family went back to the resort. 

 The next day our family planned to go to Cheonmachong Ancient Tomb. As we drove to our destination, I saw many hills and I thought Gyeongju has many hills. Once we got to our destination, I could see more hills. And my father pointed one hill and said to me that is a Tomb. I was amazed and ashamed that I thought that is a hill. Inside Cheonmachong Ancient Tomb, I could see Cheonmachong gold crown and Cheonmado. It was a fun and memorable experience. 

After traveling to Gyeongju in 2016, my family visited Gyeongju several times. But it couldn't keep up with the first trip. Because the first trip to Gyeongju made me see the amazing historical site and feel interested in Silla. And that's why I think a trip to Gyeongju is my the best trip ever.
