A lot of these classroom etiquette rules were posted clearly in the room for students to see.  Some teachers were able to frequently refer to them throughout the day. This seemed to help keep the students on track when misbehaving.

That is a fantastic use of technology. 
I would incorporate the 5 senses when it came to rules. I think that is a basic learning topic for that age and it would help them remember the rules.
