what I had learn from this article about two secondary schools visiting schools abroad.

1. the students who visited the school abroad,and the students who are from that school abroad, were building their friendships the more they talk.

2. One of the students from the local school received 15 letters from the students of the abroad school as they were happy talking to each other.

1. The point which i agree to is the point where they said that social media come alongside due to anxiety and depression as some social media platforms can be ban from being used by the public.

2. If regent had a phone ban from the start of the day to finish, I would feel sad and annoyed as I would not be able to call or massage my parents whenever i have finish school or what time do i go home on certain days and also I would not be able to update them.

One opinion I agree with is what Ms Rodrigues said about teaching kids how to use technology responsibly instead of just banning it. I think this makes a lot of sense because phones and social media are a big part of our lives now, and banning them doesn't teach students how to use them wisely. If we don’t learn how to manage screen time, avoid online dangers, or handle social media pressure, we might struggle even more in the future when there are no rules or limits. It's better to prepare students for the real world instead of just locking phones away.

2. i would feel sad i will not have surrender my phone and i will hide it

the disadvantage on the other hand is that banning phones could foster resentment or a sense of betrayal? among students, especially if they feel it’s an invasion of their personal space.

   that enforcing the ban – and winning over students has proved challenging, though he said most follow the rules.

   “The majority of kids who have phones don’t love it,” he said. “However, if you dig deeper with them in the conversation, they will acknowledge that it’s helped them remain focused.” Mr Mough said the phone ban has reduced classroom distractions, cyber bullying, and instances of students meeting up to skip lessons. I agree with this. As when the phone is not with us we would want to do something fun like talking to our friends.

1. If there is phone ban in Regent Secondary School I have to surrender my phone from the start of school until the day ends and I will feel sad, a bit happy. I would feel happy as I would want to see how I overcome when my phone is conficated and sad as we won't be able to text people and play our games

Q2: If Regent Secondary School had a phone ban where we had to give up our phones for the whole day, I'd feel a bit weird at first. I'm used to having my phone, so it would take time to get used to. But honestly, I think it could be a good thing. It might help me concentrate more in lessons and actually talk more with people around me. I'd just want to make sure I can use my phone again once school ends, especially to contact my family.

i agree on principal matthew as enforcing ban and winning over students is kinda challenging as some students have there mobile phone and some dont the students who have mobile phones can take advantage of the ones who dont have as they could think that their parents dont trust them enough to handle a mobile phone

if regent ban mobile classwork will be harder and when parents contact you as a emergency you wouldnt know as you dont have a device with you

2.After viewing the population of people who rather hang out with friends than family and our strict parenting rules on how far we can travel, I don't think that youngsters like us would enjoy these outings like cycling a far distance or exploring the nature, but I really hope that they will still have these activities for the future generations so they won't they on their devices all the time and actually get to go out

Yes, there was once when i saw a friend that was once offered a vape in the school toilet, they politely declined saying they weren't interested and changed the subject, mentioning that vaping isn't good for their health which helped shift the conversation in a different direction.
