ayeyuhskuh is a player who was the captain of KTTY during Season 18 and is a former officer of SSH, KNC, and CHES. He held the 1st place position on the session Hall of Fame several times and is a former moderator of the Nitro Type Discord server.

ayeyuhskuh was previously banned from the site in 2019 following his attempts alongside Dangerbob to cause great harm to the site's backend infrastructure. They discovered multiple exploits to break the cash system, allowing them to send billions of dollars through stolen accounts among other things.

He would later be unbanned in July 2022 following talks between Vielle and admin Travis, having displayed his maturity and forgiveness of the situation, added onto the fact that Dangerbob was also forgiven before ayeyuhskuh's unban.

ayeyuhskuh's most notable time on Nitro Type spans from mid-to-late 2018 until the latter half of 2019. He would set many records and establish himself as an important community figurehead at the time. Many who knew him during his prime would describe him as mature and trustworthy.

History

2017-2018

ayeyuhskuh was an active member in SSH, earning officer in a short time based on activity, maturity and trustworthiness with captain Volatile. He would become noteworthy in regards to his ability to type upwards of 120+ WPM with two fingers, something he would improve upon until the latter half of 2018. Here he created many tight-knit relationships with prominent community members through Discord such as Vielle, DV0RAK and Galaxied.

Season 8 - Joins SSH

ayeyuhskuh would first appear on the season leaderboards during this season, finishing 88th place with an average of 98 WPM.

Season 9

ayeyuhskuh would have a massive leap in this season, finishing 7th place with an average of 99 WPM, granting them the "Competitor" title.

Season 10

ayeyuhskuh would yet again take another leap in activity, finishing the season 4th place with an average of 100 WPM. This feat was made more impressive when you consider this season had over half of the accounts in the top 100 register to be non-gold botting accounts.

Season 11

ayeyuhskuh would experience a slight regression in leaderboard standing, finishing in 18th place with an average of 111 WPM, gaining even more popularity for his two-finger speed at the time.

Season 12 - Leaves SSH

ayeyuhskuh would finish 100th place in this season with an average of 115 WPM, putting him just at the last threshold to make the season leaderboard.

B2S 2018 - Introduction to CHES

ayeyuhskuh would have a multiple season hiatus, returning for the Back 2 School event. Sometime between Season 12 and this season he would leave SSH and opt to join team CHES in an effort to beat NTA. Highly motivated, he finished 2nd place, averaging 117 WPM. This season would grant him the title "Rival".

Season 17 - Departure from CHES/Creation of KTTY

ayeyuhskuh would again place in the top 100 for the 7th time in his career, finishing in 75th place with an average of 128 WPM, taking a step back from his insane activity seen in seasons prior to plan for his upcoming project team KTTY.

This would be the first season where he gave up two-finger typing and would opt to type a more traditional style utilizing all fingers to try and catch up to Galaxied's rapid improvement following his end to two-finger typing. ayeyuhskuh would practice homerow typing on a secret account, improving rapidly. He was quickly able to overtake his former top speed of 161 WPM achieved with two-fingers.

Season 18 - KTTY rises the ranks

Prior to the start of Season 18, KTTY would be created on November 4, 2018 by ayeyuhskuh, with former Nitro Type Discord owner Galaxied being the de-facto co-captain. Both racers planned on having extreme activity, ensuring team success. Having built a substantive relationship with many prominent members of the Nitro Type Discord, it didn't take much effort to garner popular support at the time, having gotten the backing of notable faces at the time such as Wildflower, Vielle, Mal, and Riddle. The entire message and purpose of the team was to beat DOG, fueled with motivation after being able to dethrone NTA in Season 17 with team CHES.

History

Tauriel has become notable for being a high standing community member, to the point where she eventually became a Wiki Bureaucrat, unofficial forum Admin under Nightmare in mid-2014, and a prominent member of SBD that was held in high regards. She is known for her role in the early Shivtr clan communities and being a prominent Skype member with other Nitro Type players at the time including Vielle and Nightmare.

Clans and Teams

Tauriel first gained notoriety through her role in ATL, where she had risen to a co-captain, and eventually towards a full on leadership position when it was merged to form SOL, a clan ran by a trio of 3 people including Vielle, ShiftThePro, and herself, where they all assumed equal power. SOL was run until February 2014, when Vielle was banned, with the next move set out by Vielle to have the clan merge with NTF to form COL. This merger however was unstable, and as a result Tauriel had joined many other former SOL and NTF members (now under COL) to form SBD, therefore creating a team, and eventual team rivalry with Nightmare at the time.

Since then Tauriel has been inactive and unaffiliated with other teams, aside from sniping the MLP tag away from BadlyDrawnTurtle, instead naming it "Michigan Lead Poisoning".

Kristen Smith had been Teaching.com's main customer service specialist from Nitro Type's inception until 2015, when she resigned to focus on her family. She returned to Teaching.com in September 2019.

John started out with successive Nitro Type clans around 2013-2014 and was involved in the early Nitro Type Skype community among many other notable players including Vielle, Tauriel, and ShiftThePro. He had a role in reporting the news hysteria that occurred around the time, and indirectly resulting in Vielle's ban initially, although this did not have an impact as he would continue to be good friends alongside Vielle back in the SBD Shivtr and unofficial Nitro Type Discord community. John had a notable role on TypeRacer and the typing scene when his YouTube channel blew up, with the channel having originally starting out with Nitro Type content in 2014.

John is one of the most popular YouTubers with a channel dedicated to typing, but he did not get the title or trail until Vielle reached out to the admins for the rewards.

Pandora is a player who is an administrator on the Nitro Type Discord server. He is also known for having completed several long sessions, was an officer of SYN during Season 21, and of KTTY during Season 18. His account has since been sold.

History

2018

Pandora joined Nitro Type on February 21, 2018. After a few months of casual racing, he ramped up his activity over the summer, joining SSH and placing 15th in Season 16.

In Season 18, motivated by the creation of KTTY, he would once again strive for a high placement after only being moderately active in the Back 2 School season and Season 17, ending the season in fifth place.

2019

Season 21

pjcrowley's return to Nitro Type

On April 13, 2019, pjcrowley returned to the Nitro Type community through the Discord. pjcrowley, whose account had been banned in summer 2015 upon his own request, owned team SYN, which, because of his return, had just barely avoided being auto-disbanded. pjcrowley quickly began recruiting players to SYN in preparation for a bid to place ahead of SSH in Season 21, naming Pandora as co-captain after a single day.

Hall of Fame session

On May 24, 2019, ten days after Season 21 started, he began a long session, with the intention of reaching the Hall of Fame. He had previously attempted this several times, especially during Season 18, with all attempts failing for various reasons. Three days later, he breached the 4,000-race mark, surpassing Galaxied, and his session gained a significant amount of attention from the Discord and the NT News. Pandora had been using a pink All Terrain Vehicle for the majority of the session, and many players began to use the car with the same paint job to show their support, with PenguinTyper even making a video on the subject.

Pandora ended his session on May 29 at 6,006 races, reaching the first place position and usurping Smithy and Moises, who had been holding #1 and #2, respectively, for the previous two years.

June & July

The session had allowed Pandora to open up a sizable lead on the Season 21 leaderboard, and he decided to compete for first place. His main opponents were Titanium_Tendons and Hysteria, who Pandora for weeks did not have much difficulty remaining ahead of. By late June, however, Tendons had been making large gains by the day and Pandora had begun to experience burnout. With Pandora's lead reduced to 70,000 points, he messaged Tendons to concede.

Despite his concession, however, Pandora still felt a need to race, given that SYN and SSH were still engaged in extreme competition. This burden was later alleviated, however, as Tendons would soon disband his own team, TBZ, to join SYN. Following him onto SYN were also three top 10 players. The addition of these combined four players allowed SYN to gain their momentum back against SSH.

Pandora was largely absent in the final week of the season due to going on vacation and was not available to race for SYN. Ultimately, however, SYN was still able to take the season win, ending SSH's 10-season win streak.

After season 21, Pandora would never return to his peak activity. In Season 22, he raced a decent amount, placing 22nd, but did not rank in the top 100 for any of the following three seasons.

2020-present

7,140-race session

Pandora's main focus had been on improving his speed in the months preceding Season 26. He did not originally intend on being active that season, but decided to begin another long session on February 13, 2020, seeking to reclaim the #1 spot from ayeyuhskuh, who had passed him on the session Hall of Fame in December. This was made easier due to the November 2019 update that had shortened the length of races from 40 seconds to 25 seconds.

Unlike his previous session, Pandora's second session went relatively unnoticed due to the removal of the 7-day leaderboards. He ended the session on February 17 at 7,140 races, a reference two of his friends' birthdays (7/13 and 7/15, with 7/14 being between them), reclaiming his number 1 spot on the Session Hall of Fame. He would also end up finishing the season in 13th place with 18,000 races.

10,733-race session

In March 2020, Pandora joined team DUPW, an inactive, noncompetitive team largely composed of his small friend group. At the time, the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak, and most of the members' schedules were empty. Thus, one member suggested that they share an alternate account in order to break the session record. Pandora, despite still being first place on the session Hall of Fame, agreed to it.

On April 12, 2020, Pandora and two other DUPW Members, King and Aaronmango, started their session on an account named representindupw. The session was flawlessly and expeditiously completed; two reasons Pandora, King, and Aaron have cited for this is that they kept their group small and each of them ensured that they consistently followed the rigid schedule that had been set. The session was ended a week later at 10,733.

The number 10,733 is an inside joke among members of the team; in September 2018, King attempted a 1,000 race session, losing it at 733 races.

Inactivity and account sale

After the session was complete, and following his acquisition of the Mercedex McLaro SLR, Pandora returned to his previous low activity levels. He would not appear on the top 100 again until the leaderboards were removed, instead prioritizing his typing speed. The removal of the leaderboards in late 2020 further subdued his interest in Nitro Type, as that had been his main motivator for playing the game. Pandora only did 10,000 races throughout the entirety of 2021, a historically low amount compared to previous years.

In November 2021, Stormy offered Pandora $1,000 for his account, which he accepted, which is tied with asssa123's account sale for the largest account sale in Nitro Type history. The account is still being raced on to date.

History

He was first introduced to Nitro Type in his 4th grade computer class. He played casually and completed event achievements all the way from the 2017 Xmaxx Event to the 2019 Back to School Event, and typed around 50 WPM. He stopped being active throughout 2019 and came back to the game in November 2020, during online school. He also created a Discord account and became more involved in the community Unfortunately, the decisions he decided to make were not the best. He started scamming accounts and stealing cash from other players, until karma hit and got his account temporarily banned and stolen. He decided to make a new name for himself and move on from his past. His account was unbanned and he changed his username from shadowsmainaccount to itspickles.

He started grinding races by himself, joined and moderated Discord servers to get off on the right foot for his reputation. He set a goal for himself called R2100K (Road to 100k), where he planned to hit 100,000 races by the end of 2021, which he ended up successfully completing on December 17, 2021. He became officer for the team SSH in October, and was a respectable member of the community. However, 2022 would be a better year. He set another goal for himself similar to his previous goal called R2200K (Road to 200k), where he planned to hit 200,000 races by the end of 2022. This was unfortunately unsuccessful due to his schedule revolving around school and other priorities. But, he finished off the year with approximately 175,000 races, and achieved a race count of 200,000 on February 24, 2023. Other accomplishments in 2022 included achieving the "Sp3llchekcer" and "Verified TikToker" titles and creating his team [SIX] Sixth Sense, which ended up at top 10 in Season 41 and was even top 3 at one point. One thing that was unique about his team was that he rewarded his teammates with Discord Nitro or $10,000,000 with every 3,000 team races they completed. He remade the team in May 2023 to see how far it could last throughout the summer.

CarriePirc joined the site on September 22, 2012. She would quickly become the most active racer of all time on the site, surpassing F4U-Corsair in early 2013 and earning The Pirc just a few months later, the Wach 6 in late 2013, and the Liberty '14 Mantaray in early 2014. She would be surpassed by Lacan in overall races shortly afterwards, but would reclaim her spot as the most active racer on the site in late 2014, during which she was also appointed to moderator. She then later earned the Blitz Police Cruiser and was then surpassed in all time races by iloveshoes2 in 2015.

2016-2017

Wizard joined Nitro Type on December 15, 2016. Within his first few months, he was active, joining HYT and placing top 100 in Seasons 3 and 4. This short period of activity would be followed by a 3-year hiatus, and he did not return to the game until early 2020.

2020

Season 27

He was markedly more active in 2020 than in 2017; over 90% of the races on his account were completed that year. In Season 27, he joined 5HRK, finishing on the individual leaderboard with over 10 million points.

Season 28

Nitro Type Olympics

In Season 28, he joined SYN, being promoted to officer. Concurrently, he was a contender in the activity competition in the 2020 Summer Olympics. For almost the entirety of the month that the Olympics went on, he remained in the third place position behind Kocho and Hysteria. Hysteria, however, prioritizing beating Kocho on Season 28 rather than winning the Olympics, decided to share his account with other players, disqualifying him from the competition. This, along with Kocho being disqualified on August 2nd (along with Mal) for stealing Hysteria's account in order to prevent him from winning the season allowed Wizard to claim first place with only a few days left and no other real contenders (the 2nd place racer was 9,000 races behind him, an insurmountable lead). He was awarded the "Olympic Gold Medalist" title after the competition ended.

Season 29

After Season 28, Wizard joined NDB, captained by riptide. After NDB disbanded, he created his own team, SCYLLA. He placed 12th in Season 29. Since then, his activity has returned to its pre-2020 levels.

During Season 28 she collaborated with Mal to get Hysteria's account compromised. As a result, she was disqualified from the Nitro Type Olympics. She has now since retired.

Andy5692

Andy5692 is a player who was a news and forum moderator on Nitro Type, as well as the third highest-ranked member of NTM. He was a very fast typist, regularly placing #1 on the 24-hour speed leaderboard with 130+ WPM averages.

History

Andy5692 joined Nitro Type on October 7, 2012 under the username "modandy", which he specifically chose to trick his friends into believing he was a moderator. Incidentally, this ended up coming pass, with him becoming one of the first two news moderators in early 2013 alongside andrew1167.

The return of the Nitro Type forums in June 2013 was largely due to his suggestion of the same, but only under the condition of exclusivity to Gold Members. This would later be changed to a level requirement of 40, until the forums were eventually shut down in 2014.

2019 account compromise

After years of inactivity, Andy's account was compromised by Typing-Demon (not to be confused with Damon5), the captain of OBXY, in 2015. This resulted in the account being passed around among several different players.

This culminated on March 8, 2019, when the account was used by ayeyuhskuh and Dangerbob to send billions of cash to other players through an API exploit, resulting in the account's ban.

Andy was solely a part of the Nitro Type Masters, in which he ranked third-in-command. His TypeRacer track was used for the first few days of communication before moving to an official website.

andrew1167 is a player who was a news and forum moderator on Nitro Type. He also co-owned NTM alongside Vielle.

History

andrew1167 joined Nitro Type on February 8, 2012. For his first few months on the game, he appeared under the alias "this_name_is_funny". After NTM was formed in early December, he changed his name to [NTM]andrew1167, presumably because of the 20-character limit not allowing him to insert his clan tag in his former display name.

Throughout 2012 and 2013, he maintained an active presence on the site and in the news comments, eventually being promoted to moderator alongside Andy5692 in March 2013. Andrew1167 peaked as the #2 all-time active racer at one point after passing Corsair, though was eventually surpassed by Vielle. Andrew was demoted from moderator sometime between mid 2014 and late 2015 following a period of inactivity.

For a while, Andrew1167 was one of the only racers to own every event car in the game at one point in time, alongside CarriePirc and Vielle in 2013 and 2014. When Vielle was banned, him and CarriePirc were left as the only people that owned every event car, but Andrew lost this streak after the 2017 Summer Event ended.

Harmony

Harmony, formerly known as Tesla233 or simply Tesla, is a player who is most notable for being the captain of TECT in Season 11, holding officerships on a number of top teams, including NTA, SSH, VFC and 5HRK, and placing high on the season leaderboards from late 2017 to mid 2018.

2017

Harmony originally started out under the alias of "Tesla" in Season 8, joining NTA and being a semi active member until Season 9, during which she placed 6th. Following this season, her popularity and visibility in the community markedly increased as she joined Discord, as well as began to post often in the News comments.

2018

Seasons 11-13

At the beginning of Season 11, she joined SSH largely due to peer pressure from members of the NT Discord due to the community's antipathy towards NTA at the time. She was very active that season, almost maintaining top 10 for its entirety. Midway through, she created her own team, TECT, with her then-boyfriend Tyrant. Despite being formed nearly halfway through the season, the team managed to place 6th and was later chosen for the first team interview. At the end of the season, she attempted a Hall of Fame session, but ended up falling asleep at the 2,925 races, short of the 3,263 races needed to pass HollowManNoToNitros. The session, however, pushed her past TypeMeFantastic and Smithy on the leaderboards, earning them 2nd place for the season. This was also the 4th longest session of the time.

TECT was disbanded following Season 11 and Harmony rejoined SSH, becoming an officer on that team as well. They remained an active racer on the leaderboards and within the community for the following two seasons, being promoted to staff on the Nitro Wiki during this time.

Season 14

On May 5, 2018, Tyrant created team VFC. She joined this team, earning it much traction, being a well known and prominent racer of the time who was able to attract attention from both newer players, as well as many of the older/former racers who were previously members of SECT. The most notable example of this was Wildflower, who was convinced to join due to an agreement made between the two of them.

Along with Vielle, Harmony and Tyrant considered themselves the "leaders" of VFC.

Post-VFC period

After the disbanding of VFC by the admins, most of its previous members only stayed teamless for the remainder of Season 14. In contrast, Harmony remained bitter about it for months. She remained teamless not only for the remainder of Season 14, but also throughout Seasons 15 and 16. This, in conjunction with their undergoing of extreme personality shifts throughout that summer, as well as being banned from posting news comments following VFC's disbanding, caused their reputation to drop significantly.

This phase, however, ended in Season 17. She also decided to rejoin SSH. After Season 18 she went on hiatus.

2019-present

In January 2019, an account named "Spectratorix" joined the Nitro Type Discord server, claiming that they were a family member of Tesla's and that Tesla had drowned in a river. The account was quickly banned from the server and dismissed as a troll. In March, however, the same account messaged multiple Nitro Type community members, bringing to light that "Tesla" was a fake identity and that they had been pretending to be female the entire time. They gained wide notoriety within the community following this, being universally marked as a catfish.

On August 29, 2019, Harmony returned to the community, admitting that they had been behind the account, confirming that the Tesla identity was fake, and asking for forgiveness, which was almost unanimously granted. They once again joined SSH and was promoted to officer for a few seasons until joining 5HRK for one season, becoming inactive shortly after after earning the Blitz McLaro SLR.

Trivia

Harmony identifies as transgender, and had long maintained a habit of characterizing themselves as female on online games. This continued when creating their Nitro Type account. They later discovered that the main reason for this was a long struggle with gender dysphoria, which they publicly revealed on March 3, 2021, about a year after leaving the game.

The Inevitable Downfall of Penguin Typer

While Penguin Typer's legacy can not be forgotten by the Nitro Type community, everyone can agree that his decline has been because of lack of uploads, little motivation for videos, and just milking the same content over and over again. Keep in mind, in the last two years, Penguin Typer's viewership has dropped and so has his motivation.

But let's go back a bit and find out where he started his channel.

In early 2017, Penguin Typer ( we'll call him phil from now on since it's more easier to say ) uploaded his first video, titled "I found an old clip from 2016 it's just a still picture enjoy" . This video got minimal amount of views and from that on he kept uploading short videos of him racing with either famous Nitro Typers ( Like escape artist ) or just some random racing videos. He also uploaded some Agar.io videos and more of that stuff. Most of his videos got about 50-200 views, with a minimal impact, until he uploaded a video called "Searching for hackers in Nitro Type" which got him over 40K views, when he finally realized, that if he did a basic runthrough of the game, mainly targeted towards newer audiences that just started Nitro Type, that would result in more views, Videos like " Nitro Type's worst cars, How to hack and get banned, ) both got over 10K views. However, this was just a minimal amount of success compared to what was about to happen.
On the 19'th of February 2018, Phil uploaded a video titled "Nitro Type: The richest cars" which most people label as the start of his rise. As of this month, the video has amassed over 90K views and is nearing 100K. After this video, Phil realized that the content he is making should be less short and more long. He switched his content to focus entirely on Nitro Type at the end of the 2019 Back2School event. More videos of his went to gain 80K+ views and that's what propelled him to gain more subs in the process. Making more broader videos that were fun for Nitro Type experts and newbies were the strategy of Phil.

But what caused him to downfall, and eventually quit nitro type despite a loyal following and viewership?

There can me a lot of reasons given for this.

On May 28, 2021, Phil uploaded a video titled " Just checking in..." in which he explained that he had no desire to continue his Nitro Type career and had thought of retirement. It was seeming inevitable because three months later he uploaded a video called "I Quit" in which he explained that he will leave the Nitro Type community for good. Why?

Bad content. Even after his return, he had not had good content, just look at his current videos and they look very CPRish. Those videos are just a CPR attempt to keep the channel alive. His return has just not good videos. And his cringey style of presentation has not helped his content at all. But in the attempt to remove his cringiness, he tried to show his "Original Self" and failed horribly doing so. One such example was changing his youtube username to "Phil" instead of Penguin Typer. Another bad move on his part, and that will not aid his content.

pjcrowley is a player who is most notable for being the captain of the team Syndicate. As captain he also ran streams.

History

pjcrowley started out Nitro Type as far back as 2012, and within his first 2 months he became one of the earliest members of the clan, the Nitro Type Masters, the first and only clan at the time, led by Vielle. Early on he was able to get to top 100 all time active racers. Although he would be absent during later periods of 2013, he would make explosive comebacks to the site, such as when he vied repeatedly to set a session record, by setting out a 2,000 race session. However during one of his race sessions he had an heart attack, but survived. However his brother made a statement on the Nitro Type News at the time implying a rumor that he had died, afterwards many players showed their support by equipping the"R.I.P." title. This News controversy cleared up, and the last time he would ever interact with the community aside from the news comments was the first unofficial forums at the time until he created SYN.

On July 7th, 2015, pjcrowley created SYN which became known for being one of the fastest teams at the time, having frequently appeared in the All Time Speed Leaderboard. He would become involved with the SBD Shivtr where he communicated with players, and was widely respected with other players. However in 2015 he would end his involvement with Nitro Type when he sought to quit the game by getting banned. He emailed the admins, and they complied with his request to be banned, while leaving a ban reason implying him to check out the 7 other skins (with a link to the Imgur album), a feature that many players widely believed was coming at the time.

pjcrowley would make a grand return to the community and teams after being banned. His long-time friend asssa123 had unbanned him after 4 years and he immediately brought on supporters for his vision of Nitro Type by quickly becoming a major Discord personality and reinstating his longtime friendship with Vielle, who also supported and served as a personal adviser to his team. He had incidentally became the 2nd major veteran player to come back to the community with almost no name-recognition and quickly became a centralizing team leader in the community. Because of this SYN became a quick phenomenon, as SECT once did in the Discord community.

pjcrowley notably took many risks when running his team, and had a powerful confidence that interfered frequently with authority around him at the time, because of this he became controversial due to his personality. This likewise had made him more genuine to many players and added to the growing complexion when his risks would pay off, and his team would defy the odds. This was no more evident than in the rivalry that ended SSH's 10-season winning streak, a consistent showing that was so historic that it had placed itself as the most powerful team in Seasons history due to its unbeaten record. He was overwhelmingly successful at rallying Discord and having powerful backing from people that supported him while simultaneously bringing in many veteran players, as well as creating a coalition of the most active players at the time. This culminated in an impressive all-time point record for Seasons, and the end of SSH's year-long streak as the #1 Seasons Team. He had also done this while keeping the team's WPM average above 100, a remarkable accomplishment consistent with SYN's history as a speed team at the time.

SYN would notably bring out the peaks of many talented players in the community, most notably Tendons and Pandora. Because of SYN's championing success, powerful backing, and strong influence, it would go on to be known as one of the most legendary teams in the Discord community, made even more empowering due to pjcrowley's personality and meteoric comeback to the community. SYN would come back to win another season during Season 28 during July 2020, which would quickly dominate and take over the leaderboard. He would eventually kick many of his members but wind up winning the season anyways. pjcrowley left the community abruptly in mid-2020, and gave Discord leadership of SYN's server to Jisoo. His account was given to Vielle who eventually passed it on to be preserved by Tendons, then a player called Afrolicious (aka Julia) purchased the account, where it is preserved today. The account has since been fully locked out by Nitro admins, and they refuse to unlock it for any player, including pjcrowley himself.

Clans and Teams

pjcrowley participated in the Nitro Type Masters as one of the core members. He would also be one of the most active members of the clan many times, only falling behind Vielle and Andrew1167.

So did he die or not?

The answer is, no, he didn't die. His brother had posted a post saying that his brother died, but his brother faked his death, So he is still alive.

Flaneur, also known as Aidan or Hysteria, is a player who is most notable for being a former SSH officer. Hysteria got access back to his original ilovevolatileandnike account on April 28th, 2022 courtesy of Travis and Vielle. He is also one of the fastest typists on the site, as he has been able to average 180+ WPM speeds, and set similarly high scores on other websites such as on TypeRacer.

History

Started out as a user on Discord, and started out on Nitro Type with half the speed he currently has today.

During Season 28, his account got compromised by Mal to let Kocho win the season, as Hysteria was competing with her for first place. This sparked an outrage in the community that resulted in Kocho being disqualified from the NT Olympics, and many users looking down on her as a result.

Hysteria's account would be compromised by an unknown user around the latter part of 2019. He would try to regain the account, but with no success, until April 2022.

Hysteria was also an exclusive early Nitro Math tester alongside 10 others in May 2022.

Bremitorix is a player who is a Nitro Wiki admin and owns a Nitro Type YouTube channel with over 700 subscribers.

2015-2016

Bremitorix joined Nitro Type on January 22, 2015, however had negligible activity levels until November, being among the first members to join team WPS2 (captained by TheWamᏢus). The team quickly rose to top 5, amassing 800 races within its first day of existence, mostly through inviting teamless racers from the 24-hour scoreboard. However, the team began to decline in activity beginning in late December, and was eventually disbanded on February 13, 2016, with TheWampus opting to join NTA. Bremitorix almost immediately recreated the team and was able to maintain a top 5 position (behind NTA, DOG, STPR, and XLS) for the next few months, using the same original strategy of inviting teamless players from the 24-hour scoreboard, with Speed Typing (then named willshev) being among the first players to join. He would ultimately disband the team following a 7-week vacation in June and July during which he had limited access to the site and the team observed a sharp drop in its leaderboard position.

He would go on to join a selection of different teams including NTLK, NTA, and DOG, before eventually remaining on STPR from August to November, earning The Pirc during this time period. He was also a member of NTF during its revival in December 2016.

2017
Being a member of MMJR at the time of its disbanding, he was originally dismayed to hear about its merger with SECT, but eventually joined the team for Season 1, completing nearly 2,000 races, just shy of 50th place.

He once again joined STPR during Season 3, earning the Wach 6 on April 18, 2017, after which he became inactive.

During Season 8 he returned from inactivity and became a prominent figure in the news comments, also attracting attention to his YouTube channel and being promoted to content moderator on the Nitro Wiki.

2018

Ban
On January 26, 2018, Bremitorix created an account named "ifuccshoes2" and posted several news comments with it, taking cues from NT Discord members. At 6:44 PM CST, both the account and his main account were banned, with the ban reasons being "Bye." and "Inappropriate news comments" respectively. This resulted in him missing the 2018 Spring Fever and PAC events, although he did obtain the achievements on an alternate account. His YouTube uploads slowed considerably following this, though he maintained a presence on the Discord server, and became a server support on June 8, 2018.

He was unbanned on June 23, 2018 after showing Travis a garage glitch.

Seasons 13-14

On May 1, 2018, he joined SSH in preparation for Season 13. During the season, he attempted to obtain a top 10 position and the "PACking a Punch" title, though he ultimately failed and finished 22nd. He was a member of VFC for the first two days of Season 14, but remained inactive following its disbanding and for the better part of the season. Towards the end, a bet was made with SlovakianSalamander, the captain of CCOD, that his team would earn a top 10 placement. Bremitorix bet against him and joined REV as a result. REV ended up beating CCOD for 10th place, due in large part to much effort from RacerRalph and other racers.

Seasons 16-18

In Season 16, he earned his first "Competitor" title, ranking 9th. Towards the end of the season he was promoted to officer on SSH.

Upon earning the Fonicci Lacan Hypersport in September 2018, his activity dropped, and he left SSH at the end of the Back 2 School (2018) season. His original resolve was to cease active racing outside of events after earning the car, but he attempted earning a top 3 placement in Season 18 after it was announced that Season 18 would be the final season with leaderboard titles. Due to his good rapport with volatile, he declined to join KTTY and opted instead to rejoin SSH. He was engaged in fierce competition with various racers such as anT, Pandora, Anja, Wildflower and, during the earlier parts of the season, ayeyuhskuh. Despite this, PantherJosh would ultimately clinch third place after a massive push at the end of the season, as Bremitorix dropped to 8th due to falling sick during the final week.

He completed 10,931 races in December 2018, making it his most race-dense month of all time.

2019-present
After Season 18 would follow a lull in both his Nitro Type and Discord activity, pursuant to his plan to remain inactive outside of events. He would make a full reappearance in the community in April 2020 subsequent to the release of Season 27 and the announcement of the return of the Nitro Type Olympics. During this time he also revived his YouTube channel.

He placed 4th in the accuracy competition in the 2020 Nitro Type Olympics, coming short of earning a custom title. After the Olympics, he raced until earning the Blitz Police Cruiser in September. Since then, his Nitro Type activity has returned to its 2019 levels, only racing to earn all of the tiers in seasons.

Honestly, I think the NT Leagues were a great idea and perfect when they came out.

It helps prevent botters, which is very helpful. I also like how when you start a race, it puts you in a league with others who started at the same time as you, which is helpful. I also do love how they put some new achievements in the game, so you can earn some Nitro Cash, Titles, and Stickers!

The downside to leagues is that when you get put into harder leagues, it gets difficult, especially for those who have school/work to do (With Races who do 1,000 Races), so it can be difficult, but also challenges you to push yourself harder. I do wish they put some achievements for a team also, but it's okay.

Overall, the Leagues are great, but I will miss the top 1-100 Teams.

The Removal of KOTR Cars

Honestly, I think the removal of the KOTR cars is a TERRIBLE Idea. It just removes the main point of the game, and it makes people lose confidence in the game.

So I researched this topic a bit and looked at bits of info from other's opinions about the removal of these cars and they are saying the same thing. I hope NT decides to rethink this and hopefully bring back these NT Cars because they are only going to have fewer players in the NT Game, less motivation, and NO point in playing the game after removing the main reason why NT Players play this game. I'm just disappointed about NT doing this, but it gives them a fair point (By Warning Us).

The Ban Wave:

After the HUGE ban wave against all the botters of NT, more than 10,000 NT Users (Botters) were removed. Then shortly after Season 51 was over, they updated the game with an "Anti-Cheat System," But it's hurting the community because it's falsely banning NT Users. Also, if they added this Anti-Cheat System to the game, then just return the KOTR Achievements. It just solves most of the problems they/we had.

An Idea:

Go to NT Support and put your opinion about the removal of the KOTR Cars. This might resolve it, but it probably take a long time. At least give it a try.

What Happen to ZL (Best Team) and Odai?

So I know some of you wondering, "What happened to ZL?" and "What happened to Odai the Great?"

What I think that happened caused his ban was his discord server, which allowed people to buy/trade accounts.

So I tried the best of my ability to research the topic, and took me an hour at least to find the best information. What I have found is either that he broke the "NEW" terms of service (Not allowing to buy/trade accounts), which could have resulted in his ban, OR, he could have botted on his account, which I hardly doubt it because he has one of the best teams on the platform, and has achieved and was given the NitroPAC.

What happened to ZL?

ZL was disbanded because the of the result of Odia the Great being banned from the Nitro Type Platform, which, Of Course, resulted in banning his team sadly.

I know most of the members of the NT Community will miss Odai for his team and his account. He will leave a permanent mark on the platform.

Galaxied is a player who is most notable for being the owner the Nitro Type Discord server from 2017 to 2019, and being the winner of Season 18, during which they also completed a 4,000 race session, earning them 3rd place on the session Hall of Fame. They were also a former officer of teams KTTY and NTA, as well as a current moderator of the Nitro Type subreddit.

Galaxied was originally a prominent member of SECT and DOG during the prime of Season 1, gaining notable popularity throughout Discord and Shivtr for their two-finger typing ability. They would remain largely in the competitive scene until 2019, having won a season and being on the Hall of Fame numerous times. Their original account was banned in 2017 following bad news behavior and an inappropriate team name. This account would later be unbanned by former admin TheRedBaron, where it remains on the site today. They created a new account in 2017. Their username was changed from "galaxiedk65" to "galaxied" by former admin Asssa123 in 2019.

History

2016-2017

Galaxied originally appeared in the competitive scene in 2016, predominantly racing with an old account under the username of "galaxyyyyyyy". Galaxied was known as one of the fastest active two-finger typists on the site, averaging 120 WPM at peak. Because of this, they were well-respected at the time, with many believing that they didn't actually type with two fingers. Later on, other notable two-finger typists such as ayeyuhskuh and PenguinTyper would help ease the stigma against two-finger typing.

Season 0.5

During season 0.5, Galaxied participated exclusively with team DOG, first making their presence known on Shivtr. It would be there where they would first establish connections with Vielle, which would further down the road lead to Galaxied's departure from DOG. Galaxied would finish this season in 51st place.

Season 1

During the first season, Galaxied originally raced with popular team DOG in the first half of the season, later switching back and forth between SECT and the former. Galaxied had an active Shivtr presence throughout Season 1, maintaining contact with both DOG and SECT, with some speculating they were gathering information for the other side, but ultimately sided with SECT in the end. Towards the end point of this season, Galaxied would switch from Shivtr to Discord as the main means of communication, noting that DOG was one of the final top teams to still use Shivtr as the main methods of communication. Having raced for both teams, they were mistakenly granted respective titles "Champion Team" and "Rival Team" in the same season. It is unknown how many individuals were affected by this glitch before it was patched.

Galaxied's Ban and Unban

Post season one, Galaxied created their own team, CZ (Chill Zone), which was later renamed several times, one of which including FUNT. This team, alongside many inappropriate news posts, lead to their eventual ban. When former admin, TheRedBaron, began unbanning notable individuals upon request, such as Vielle, Galaxied was granted an unban.

Transition to Touch Typing and Discord Ownership

Galaxied began a transition from two-finger typing to touch typing, inspiring fellow two-finger typist ayeyuhskuh to follow suit. This led to the account creation of "galaxiedk65", named after their former keyboard the Corsair K65 compact, on November 25, 2017, later renamed to "galaxied" by former admin Asssa123. After the transition to touch typing, they were able to far surpass their former peak speeds using the two-finger method. Galaxied now averages 160 WPM today. Around the same time Galaxied was granted ownership of the Nitro Type Discord after a server election hosted between Volhosis and Galaxied. Galaxied's personal connection with prominent community members such as Vielle, Jacob, Firestone and others quickly allowed them to climb the ranks of the social ladder, establishing many relationships with important veterans in the community. This allowed them to easily beat Volhosis in the election, taking ownership of the server in November 2017.

2018

Back 2 School
Having minimal activity throughout the greater part of 2018, Galaxied would join team CHES in the Back 2 School season, ultimately finishing in 13th place. Their activity was fueled by CHES' ultimate goal of beating NTA, which would later inspire a bigger upcoming project, KTTY. During this season, Galaxied would create a Nitro Type theme dubbed the "pink theme", inspired by fellow racer, Bremitorix, who had previously created their own custom theme. Their theme would quickly garner popularity amongst prominent racers such as ayeyuhskuh and Pandora, achieving over 200 installs by the end of Season 17. Many screenshots from racers in KTTY as well as leaderboard screenshots from the time include the pink theme, further enshrining its popularity at the time. The theme is no longer usable, as V2 Nitro Type has been replaced by current V3.

Season 17

Galaxied finished in 79th place, having a very short stint with team DOG. They would gain access to their team Shivtr, mainly to assess the attitude of their members and their thoughts about the upcoming season. Most were oblivious to ayeyuhskuh's and Galaxied's plans in the next season, despite the plans and thoughts behind next season being widely available on the Discord at the time. While still in their activity prime, daily racing waned in anticipation for the upcoming season, with big planning between Galaxied and ayeyuhskuh going on behind the scenes. They ultimately finished with 139 WPM, the fastest racer in the top 100.

Season 18 (Champion Season)

Galaxied's relationship with ayeyuhskuh helped with the formation of team KTTY, co-running the team. Being owner of the Nitro Type Discord at the time, they were quickly able to garner popular support for the team. They developed a cult-like following with their core message being to defeat DOG following their success to defeat team NTA in the previous season with team CHES, which housed many prominent community figureheads at the time, uniting for a common cause. They wanted to replicate this with KTTY to a larger extent and succeed in doing so.

Guest Racing

From the first day of the season, Galaxied would begin racing at an average of 575 races per day through Guest Racing. During Season 18, the bots would slowly fill into a race, causing somebody in a low-populated speed zone to wait upwards of 40 seconds for a race to begin. For someone who was in a speed zone of 90-100 WPM, the race was often quickly able to be filled due to the high amount of racers in these speed zones in comparison to Galaxied's average speed at the time, often being above 130 WPM. Galaxied's main competitor, Mal, was able to take advantage of this, completing more races than Galaxied if they were to race at the exact same pace. To counteract this, Galaxied would create a private track, using multiple different devices and browsers to fill their track with guest racers to act like bots. They would be set on auto-refresh timers, typically set at 10 seconds to ensure the guest accounts were always ready to go when Galaxied would come back into the track. Many people would accuse Galaxied of cheating on the news because of this, oblivious as to what guest racing was or how they were able to complete races so fast at such a high speed zone. Many people quickly caught on to what they were doing, often sabotaging their private track with their own accounts to disrupt the guest racers from being able to properly load in. To counteract this, Galaxied created several secret accounts to be the "hosts" of the guest racing tracks, which left people being unable to sabotage Galaxied further.

Before the fast loading times for bots in all speed zones was officially implemented, there were multiple attempts by the Nitro Type admins to patch guest racing. However, Galaxied was able to quickly find workarounds with the assistance of ayeyuhskuh, who also guest raced occasionally. The first patch that was implemented, forced races to automatically disqualify if there was more than one guest racer in the track. The quick workaround to this was to just create multiple accounts and have them substitute as guest racers. This was quickly fixed, but another solution was also quickly found. There was a popular application that cheaters would attempt to use throughout 2017-2018, UltraType, which players were often banned for using. This bot would include a feature known as "Turbo Mode", which would complete races near instantly, often finishing in the thousands of WPM. Galaxied would discover if you set the guests or secret accounts to run Turbo Mode, the racers would be able to complete the race before Nitro Type was able to register a disqualification. Since one account was always finishing the race instantly, Galaxied would exclusively earn silver medals for a short part of the season, leaving further questioning on the news about what was going on behind the scenes and many calling for Galaxied to be banned. There is sometimes a common misconception today that Galaxied cheated during this season, with many notable racers, including Vielle, showing support to Galaxied. These claims are often dismissed for the sole fact that Galaxied was forced to type with next to zero down-time with the elimination of having to wait for bots to fill the track.

Previously, this was a bannable offense in which de-facto Season One winner, Nightmare, was banned for using. On December 13, around the midway point of the season, Guest Racing was officially patched, but Galaxied was never banned, showing a lapse in Nitro Type's judgement. On December 14, fast bot loading times would officially be introduced. While not as efficient as guest racing, virtually removed the gap from waiting for racers throughout the speed zones. Galaxied is often credited as the one who made this implementation possible, as nobody abused guest racing to this extent, showing dedication to win and get creative in doing so. They were awarded with the "Bug Smasher" title following a suggestion to Travis from former admin Asssa123 for Galaxied's contribution to fixing loading times.

Hall of Fame Session
In the last week of the season, Galaxied would begin what would be their 4,000 Hall of Fame session. In the early hours of December 28, they would confirm their conclusion of the session in a Discord screenshot. At the time this session was completed, it was ranked 3rd on the Hall of Fame.

Galaxied finished Season 18 with a total of 17,260 races, averaging 117 WPM, solidifying them as the fastest holder of the "Champion" title. They would be featured in a news post for finishing first. This is often credited as the most competitive season of Nitro Type's history.

2019

Season 19

Following Galaxied's Champion run, they had a very brief stint on NTA and quickly became an officer. With no real intentions of remaining active for the team, they joined solely as a joke. NTA was often viewed as a meme in regards to the Discord community. Here, Galaxied would discover further corruption by iloveshoes2 on the news, where she would encourage Galaxied to post hateful comments towards certain members from opposition teams, manually taking the comments out of moderation, in direction opposition to news moderator Asssa123. Being dubbed the "news proxy war", Galaxied would leave the team before the end of the season, whilst becoming a moderator of the Nitro Type Subreddit during this time.

Discord Controversies and Aftermath

In April of this year, Galaxied would find themselves at the head of one of the biggest controversies amongst a member of the Nitro Type community. Being owner of the Discord at the time, they were the only person capable of banning administrators and other members of staff. An internal staff disagreement between Galaxied and the two staff members Vielle and Asssa123 caused by the discovery of ayeyuhskuh's activity behind closed doors led to the banning of both by Galaxied. Staff of the server came to the conclusion that Galaxied's relationship with ayeyuhskuh conflicted with the interests of the community and deemed them unfit to continue being the main figurehead in charge of the community. A new server was subsequently created as a direct result. Galaxied has openly condemned their actions and forgiven all parties involved. They maintain good relationships with many important former and current community figureheads, and have no conflicts with former or current staff who were involved in the incident.

Viper was notable for getting 10,000 races in less than a year. He became a member of Nitro Type on November 3rd, 2023.

2023

When he started Nitro Type, he started slow, only averaging 44 WPM, only being able to climb his average WPM by a little. He was able to finish the year 2023 with 1,036 races, and an average of 49 WPM.

2024 (The Big Change!)

He started the year off doing 352 Races with an average of 52 WPM from January - February of 2024. In March, he was able to get 1,371 Races in one month! The next few months, he managed to get an average of 1,374 Races per month, and an average of 75 WPM.

Account Hacked!

On August 25th, 2024, Viper Nitro Type account was hacked, getting his password changed, not knowing what happened. Gladly, he was able to retrieve his account from a friend, getting his account back on August 28th.

On August 29th, 2024, he was able to the Corsair, which is a KOTR (King Of The Race) Car, requiring completing 10,000 races, which was his main Goal.

Honestly, the car doesn't look great, but I think it's pretty cool because it has a unique feature.

I know you guys are "Hating" this car, and I obviously see why you guys are saying that. Its unique feature is that the three flowers you see above are randomized, which I think is pretty cool.

I know it's something that you may dislike, but this is WildFlowers Car, she got to design (I think) her car, and this is what should choose. Her dedication and courage to still play this game and coming all the way we started, is just amazing. At least congratulate her for getting 1 million races, which is amazing.

What do I think about the new NT Events/Olympics?

Well, it really all depends on how these events will work in the future. It could really bring the community back into racing a bit more because of how they are being portrayed. Every so often, a new achievement/task would be released, which makes me want to check the event tab once in a while to see what's new. Of how NT worked this out, you would get at least one of each loot item (Car, Trail, Nitro, Sticker, Nametag, and a Title), and usually, you would have to use an event car to participate in the event; if not, you would not be able to get any of the loot.

What would this mean?

Although this would mean that seasons might never come back due to these new events. We might, or will, see the comeback of the Olympics, which would really be cool since they haven't been displayed for a very long time. Seeing a comeback with old events in Nitro Type's prime days would bring back some community members.

Final Say

I think Events/Olympics would bring back the good old times of nitro type when it was in its prime. But this will NEVER replace the loss of KOTR Achievements, but it is an alternative.
