M: Who are you?
A: My name is Andy Sachs. I recently graduated from Northwestern University.
M: And what are you doing here?
A: Well, I think I could do a good job as your assistant and…I came to New York to be journalist,
and sent letters out everywhere….and finally got a call from Elias Clarke and met with sherry
up at Human Resources, basically it´s this or Auto Universe.
M: So, you don’t read Runway?
A: No.
M: Before today, you’d never heard of me?
A: No.
M: And you have no style or sense of fashion….
A: Well… I think what depends on that you’re…
M: No, no that wasn’t a question.
A: I was editor chief of the Daily Northwestern. I also won a national competition for college
journalist with my series on the janitors union…which exposed the exploitation of….

A: Yeah, you know okay. You’re right. I don’t fit here. I am not skinny or glamorous and I don’t

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)
“Do you know why I hired you? I always hire the same girl—stylish, slender, of course… worships the magazine. But so often they turn out to be—I don’t know, disappointing and, um… stupid. So you, with that impressive resume and the big speech about your so-called work ethic—I thought you would be different. I said to myself, go ahead. Take a chance. Hire the smart, fat girl. I had hope. My God, I lived on it. Anyway, you ended up disappointing me more than any of the other silly girls.” —Miranda Priestly
The Devil Wears Prada is an amazing film exploring all the dynamics of women in the workplace, especially the scary ones. But again, Miranda Priestley is a victim of her own powerful persona and people don’t know what to do with that. Her character is based on the always scary, but completely brilliant Anna Wintour, Editor-in-chief of Vogue, and the similarities (from the office design to the soft-spoken commands) are amazing. The beautiful fashion in the film helps, but really this film is all about women and their careers.

I chose this phrase because it seems to me a big lie since to get a promotion you mustn't  destroy your personal life, Everything in life  shouldn't be related to work . We have to  understand that we can have both, and if your work forces you to destroy your privacy you should leave that job. In the long run it will be worthy I prefer to live happily  and unemployed than  distressed and lifeless , even if having an excellent job.
