Lastly, the video makes it clear that children in the preconventional/ conventional stage have sort of a black and white mentality. They tend to make moral decisions based on the do's and dont's of society, not feelings and or/ emotions. One conclusion I was able to make from this video was how children make moral decisions in middle childhood. Children a this stage make moral decisions based on obeying rules and conforming to social norms. So, this explains why when asked if the man should steal the drugs for his wife, all children stated, "no."
