This story follows a student with a rare genetic condition who has to navigate going to school after being homeschooled for several years. It talks about his experiences, making friends, dealing with bullies, and kids who just don't understand him. This book also discusses family dynamics and highlights how older siblings or siblings with normal development can feel really forgotten about compared to other siblings who may or may not have a disability.

This book is recommended for ages 8 to 12. When I first read this book I believe I was in 1st grade and we would use storyline online a website that would do read aloud using celebrities. I loved hearing Tia and Tamera Mowry reading the book and still can remember lines in the book. I also loved the message(s) behind the book. One message in the book I loved was the message of self love. I can always remember the song that was played at the end of the story.

This book is recommended for children in preschool to 1st grade.
