RAH arose with the idea of creating a small, familiar and easily approachable team in which we could work directly on the kind of architecture we really wanted to do. This way, we wouldn’t need to worry about bigger studios’ bureaucracy, power chains, etcetera, and instead, we would be able to focus on our passion. Ever since I was in school, I've been passionate about the arts. Whether it was painting, dancing, writing, acting... I've always considered myself to be quite an artistic person. The combination of this creative side with a more technical, mathematical profile, was what finally drove me to seek a career in architecture.

Despite not having much time to practise because of my profession, I am also very interested in learning about other cultures, be it through the study of the language, the traditions... I find the differences amongst them to be at the same time fascinating and a wonderful opportunity to enrich yourself, both personally and professionally. Due to the nature of my profession,  you never know when  that knowledge can come in handy!

Professional profile:
As an architect, I aim to make a real change through my work. That is why, after being offered to collaborate with big studios such as MVRDV, I finally decided to partner with my colleagues to create RAH, a studio focused on changing the way architecture is regarded worldwide, so as to make it more enviromental-friendly and conscious. 

Globalisation, climate change... Since I was a kid, I looked around and could not see other thing but the lack of understanding between people. Everybody had their own and personal ideas, and were willing to fight each other to defend them.

That was until I discovered the arts, and how they could help us to bond; as art is not about our ideas, but obout our feelings and sensations.

At that point, I became obsessed with every new type of art I could find. From cinematography, to literature, comics, or music, I just could not stop consuming, and creating. I even started taking violin classes, having become nowadays a proffesional in the field.

That obsession continued with architecture. At the age of 18 I started studying the matter at the Higher Technical School of Architecture in Madrid (ETSAM), where I also completed my master's degree. 

Professional profile:
Architecture is not only an art, but way of expressing ourselves, and connect with each other. During the path of my professional life, I have always been focused on the unpredictable nature of architecture around the world, how different cultures have approached this idea of connecting people through the use of public buildings and spaces.  

Due to my hard work and personal ideas, I have been offered to cooperate with the best architecture studios in the world, such as Studio 3 Architects, or the Pritzker award winner Richard Rogers.

I was born in a small, poorly planned and recently developed city in the south of Spain. Since I was a child I have had the ambition to change all the things that make me dissatisfied with my environment.
That was the beginning of my general interest on the arts.

I’m searching for the beauty, I hope that it can change people into better people. And making buildings for this beauty makes cities better places to live. And better cities make better citizens.
That´s why I´m an architect.

Professional profile:
I´m at the beginning of my career, but in these years I have had the whopping opportunity to collaborate in some competitions with great masters of architecture, both in my country and around the world. 

However, when I spent my time working in the studio, I didn´t enjoy it, that is to say: I realized that if I could choose the projects, I would feel much more satisfied with myself. Fortunately, in that moment of existential crisis,  was when RAH arose.

I share with my partners the same guidelines for architecture, we conceptualize the projects as a debate between people who have the same way of understanding the problems, but bringing in different solutions. The soul of our study is the work done with passion.

For our first project, we are compromising with the values of ecology and nature, seeing architecture as a way of cooperatively work with the world that surrounds us, in order to create a sustainable way of living.

The premise that brought us all together in the first place, was getting to change the world through architecture, which is exactly what we are trying to do with this very project. Despite being a small team, we are deeply passionate about our profession and setting our minds together towards a common goal.

We hope that with this project, our conception of a sustanaible architecture reaches worldwide and encourages othe studios to develop new projects that are not only attractive and surprising, but that can also take into consideration their enviroment and surroundings.
