The theme in "The Story of Keesh" can be described as simple as this:
In the story, Keesh, the main character, stands up to council demanding better meat. The council gets mad at him, as he is only 13. He goes off to hunt for meat himself, and the village doesn't believe that he will come back with anything. Low and behold, he returns with enough meat for a family. The moral here is that you should never underestimate others just because they are different from you, or because they are smaller, younger or weaker than you.

The theme in '' The story of Keesh'' is sacrifice. When you sacrifice for other, you need to give support. According to the text'' In his eagerness he came to close grapples with the bear, and his bones were crushed; but the bear had much meat on him and the people were saved.'' This evidence shows that Keesh's father has sacrifice his village his for saving them from a polar bear in hunting. According to the text'' It is said that Bok brought home more meat than any of the two best hunters, that with his own hands he attended to the division of it, that with his own hands he attended to the division of it, with his own eyes he saw to it that the least old woman and the last old man received fair share.'' Overall, this shows The theme in '' The story of Keesh'' is sacrifice.

The theme in "THE STORY OF KEESH" is to sacrifice for others, for those you love. In the text, Keesh's father saved the villagers and his family, but sacrificed himself. Also, Keesh brought everyone foods, he fright with the bears without any fear. Keesh and his dad saved the villagers' lives, pushed them out from the danger and hunger. This two details shows the theme. The thing I learn from this story is that do not judge others by their surface. In the article, The hunters can't believe that a 13 year old boy could brought us so many meats and let us left hunger. This detail shows do not judge others by their surface.

The theme in The Story of Keesh is sacrifice for the people you love. One detail is in the text it states " The hunters were surprised. This was a child speaking against them. A child talking like a grown man!". This shows that Keesh stood up for his family even though he knew that the council would punish him. Another detail is in the text it states " My mother has no one but me. So I speak. As I say, Bok hunted greatly, but is now dead. It is only fair then that my mother, who was his wife, and I, his son, should have meat when the tribe has meat. I, Keesh, son of Bok, have spoken.". This shows that Keesh talked to the council like a grown man to get enough meat for him and his mother. This shows that the theme of The Story of Keesh by Jack London is sacrifice for the people you love.

The theme in "The Story Of Keesh" by Jack London is sacrifice because Keesh's father had to sacrifice his life so the village get more polar bear meat, but then everyone forgot, The lesson is you should respect them and reward them. In the text it states, "But it is oft times old and tough, this meat, and, moreover, it has and unusual quantity of bones." This quote shows that the hunters didn't care what kind of meat they got because it was just a woman and her kid nothing more, so Keesh had to do something so he stood up to the hunters and he got send to bed and promised sore beating. In the text i states, "It is said that Bok brought home more meat than any of the two best hunters, that with his own hands he attend to the division of it, that with his own eyes he saw to it the least old woman and the last old man revived fair share'" This quote shows that Bok was i really great hunter that even the last old man or woman had their fair share

The Major theme of "The Story Of Keesh" is that no matter how young, weak or small someone is, that doesn't mean they can't accomplish great things. Keesh is a very young boy who went hunting all by himself. It took him days, so his mother thought he died. After some days, he came back with lots of meat. He killed a mother bear and her two cubs. The men thought it was impossible to do that and survive. In the text, it states, "The men could not bring themselves to a conclusion.

The theme of "The story of Keesh" is sacrifice because of the sacrifice that Keesh's father made for the village. The lesson that you learn it to sacrifice for those you love. Paragraph 2 states "the father of Keesh had been a very brave man, but he had been met with death in a time famine, when he sought to save the lives of his people by taking the life of a great polar bear." This quote shows that since it was winter and the sun had left the Arctic in darkness they can't hunt and find food so Keesh's father went out to a hunt without any weapons so his village can have food to eat. Paragraph 2 also states "in his eagerness he came to close grapples with the bear and his bones were crushed but the bear had much meat on him and the people were saved." This shows that since he went and died but the villages were saved because they were able to get the meat that they needed to survive." Such as, Keeshes father risking his life for the wealth of his village. He battled a great Mother polar bear and unfortunately died in the process. In paragraph one of the story it states " The father of Keesh had been a very brave man, but he had met his death in a time of famine, when he sought to save the lives of his people by taking the life of a great polar bear." This means that the father of Keesh's death was a sacrifice so that his village could thrive.

Keesh stands up to the Council after his father dies and his family is treated poorly by the Council when they are given a little amount of meat. He then hunts alone and is capable of killing not just a polar bear, but a polar bear with cubs. Keesh's father was able to sacrifice his life for the village and his family.

The theme of the Story of Keesh is sacrifice. This is the theme because there was a lot of sacrifices and keesh father was sacrificed as well to save the people from starvation. In the text it says, “ The father of keesh had been a very brave man, but he had met his death in a time of famine, when he sought to save the lives of his people by taking the life of a great polar bear”. The lessson the I learned was when someone is sacrificed you have to respect and reward the person that was sacrificed for others.

The main theme of The Story Of Keesh is sacrifice because his father gave his life to protect the villagers from starvation so he went to hunt for food. According to the text "The father of Keesh had been a very brave man, but he had been met with death in a time". The people of the village when the father of Keesh died they did not respect him. Also Keesh stands up to the Council after his dad died and after that Keeshs family has been treated bad, poorly by the Council when they get the meat.

A major theme in the story is survival and sacrifice. A lesson learned in this story is that sometimes, you have to make sacrifices for the greater good. For example, "His father tried to save the lives of his people by fighting a giant polar bear. Keesh's father was crushed to death during the struggle". Also the text states,"But he killed the bear and the meat from the bear kept the people from starving". This shows how Keesh's father made a sacrifice for the sake of his village, despite costing his life.
