I noticed last week that the one of the stalls in the teacher bathrooms on floor two always smelled like urine (like a portipotty).

However, PYP music room needs to be vacuumed everyday because of the carpet on the floor. Also the trash needs to be taken out everyday even on the days when we have activities after school. 

The teacher bathroom often run out of toilet paper and the bins in the bathrooms need to be cleared more regularly. There always a lack of toilet paper in the teacher washrooms, the garbage/recycling bins my classroom are not being taken out daily though which means that they are always overflowing, and they keep trying to come in the classroom and sweep/mop when they students are working (this is quite distracting).

I know she works hard. These are just a few ideas for Sodexo as a whole. Thanks!

1. Please empty garbages in classrooms every day. Children eat snacks, and their garbage often includes food remnants. It can get really smelly when it sits there for days on end!

2. Please check more often to make sure there's enough toilet paper in the staff washrooms. Perhaps our General Affairs could look into purchasing bigger roll dispensers and outfitting the staff stalls accordingly? 

3. Please clean (sweep / mop) the mats in the PYP classrooms, rather then cleaning around them. 

4. Please use some sort of bleach / cleaning solution when cleaning. Often times the water has an unsavoury smell, which can especially be noticed in the enclosed staff washrooms after the mopping has been completed. 

5. Please don't clean while the teachers and children are in the room learning.

They do not clean all the garbage from my classroom. They also do not replace the garbage bags. All they do is pick the garbage with their hands out of the garbage bins and put it in a master bag. They then leave the gross and smelly bag in the bin for god knows how long. This is causing smells in my classroom and also the teacher room where we use the microwaves. Also when they mop the floors they move all the desks and chairs and leave it a huge mess when I come back. This is very frustrating because I expect the cleaners to put the desks and chairs back to where they found them. Not trying to be negative, but these are simple things that should not be happening.
