An award-winning attorney in Corbin, Kentucky, Shane Romines has represented clients in a range of cases since he launched his career in 2002. He started practicing law as an associate attorney at Clark & Ward in Lexington after earning his law degree from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. After less than a year as an associate attorney, Shane Romines returned to Corbin and established Romines Law Office, PLLC.

Attorney Martha Copeland later joined him as a partner of the firm, which now operates as Copeland & Romines Law Office, PLLC. Mr. Romines handles cases in several practice areas, including personal injury, family law and real estate. He is also admitted to practice in the state of Tennessee, as well as before the United States District for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Outside of his law practice, Shane Romines participates in efforts benefitting his community. He formerly served as the president of the Corbin Rotary Club, and he donated donated and helped raise thousands of dollars for metal detectors, bullet proof film and other safety equipment for the schools in Southern, Kentucky in 2018 following the school shootings in Florida. During the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in the United States, he opened a tab at three local restaurants to support frontline workers at Baptist Health Corbin. He later expanded "The Champ's Tab" to include the general public in an effort to help struggling restaurants in the Tri-County area. Romines annually provides thousands in donations to local schools and civic groups, teams and squads in the area.
