         <description><![CDATA[<div>When it comes to the environment, virtually all plants have a role to play in regulating the water cycle, air, etc.  I chose a picture of the willow because of what is made from the salicin in it's bark: aspirin.   Most of the world's prescription medicines come from synthesized plant compounds.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This video represents possibly the biggest innovation in the Third Agricultural Revolution:  fossil fuel farming implements.<br>These were an improvement/advancement of the mechanized horse drawn implements that had come from the Second Agricultural Revolution. Instead of horses, however, they were driven by engines powered by fuel. With the invention of these machines came a much higher rate of productivity in the agriculture industry.  </div>]]></description>
