In the Philippines, the Christmas season starts in September. You'll begin seeing Christmas decorations and lights in shopping malls and neighborhoods. As early as September, you'll also start hearing Christmas carols and songs everywhere you go. This festive atmosphere lasts until the end of January the following year. This is how long Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines as part of Filipino culture.

The Lebanese culture is known for its hospitality and generosity. In Lebanese tradition, guests are treated like family and are often offered an abundance of food and drink. It’s common for hosts to go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable, reflecting a deep cultural value of kindness and connection. As for my faith, sharing with others—especially those in need and or our neighbors—is considered a sign of true belief. A well-known Hadith states: "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.

I was born and raised in Malaysia but have lived in Japan since 2004. I am of Malaysian-Portugese and Malaysian-Chinese ethnicity. Growing up, my extended family come from many Malaysian ethnic backgrounds, so as a family we celebrate all the major celebrations - Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and Christmas. And since living in Japan, I've missed out on these family calebrations!

I was born in Indonesia with Javanese ethinicity. When I got married due to the culture of both families (all Javanese), there were lots of rituals that involves everyone not just the bride and groom. This is common in many ethnicities in Indonesia as its symbolizes not just the unison of man and wife but the whole tribes. My take personally, its just so you realized how painstakingly getting married is and you'll rethink about ever getting married again..
