         <description><![CDATA[<div>one thing i leared  is that leyasu's dynasty of shotguns presided over 250 years of peace and properity in japan. another thing is that they worked to close off christianity.  The third thing that I learned is  that the Tokugawa regime acted to exclude missionaries and eventually issued a complete ban on Christianity in Japan. the pictuer showes no talking or beleving in christianity </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1549 the Christians moved to japan, but the religious orders of the Jesuits, Franciscans and  the Domicans came to affect and it turned out to be not so well. The christians became troublesome. Japans beliefs and local polotics were being involved. By 1612 the shogun began to fear the reigion and banned christianity which then focused on ridding his country of the Christians.</div>]]></description>
