Investigative Teams- In this exercise you provide the students with a bin of books from each traditional story; "The Three Little Pigs," "Red Riding Hood," "Cinderella," and so on depending on the books and class size you have available. You provide them with books from each category that provide multiple perspectives. Then you ask the students to take 2-3 days to read the books and decide which characters are good or bad. Allow them to get create with how they present their information. Ask them to justify their responses with details.

Defend Your Character - Provide the students with just one rendition of each tale and ask them to defend the villain. Allow them to write a creative story as to why the wolf blew down so many of the pigs' homes, or better yet, why the wolf ate Red Riding Hood's granny? Let the students get make their defensive arguments in just a minute and a half using fligrid! Have them really narrow their focus to key points and present their videos to the class.
