Not only have some people probably been blackmailed by the government, but that's not the main problem. The main problem is hackers, the ones that could be watching at any moment. They could be watching your kids, your sister, your brothers, anyone that you care about. This is not only makes me uneasy uneasy, but nothing is being done about.

Making it easier to be watched.  They are simple things you can do to make your life less watchable, cover your camera lenses with tape! Its a easy way for the view on the other side to not see you clearly. But make sure you cover the camera over and over and over again!

Now the district is being faced with new allegations that a student-issued laptop recorded more than 8,000 photos. the district agreed to pay $610,000 to end the lawsuits, by two students who were also victims of the webcam spying scandal. Two months earlier that they would not prosecuting the administrators.

Even in the “comfort” of your own home 24 hours a day you are being watched by your government. Big brother is something known but also not talked about. In the end it's about general human rights and  and privacy. We as people deserve to have some sort of privacy. Depending on background checks and etc.
