•  2cups all-purpose flour, sifted
• ¹⁄₄cup sugar
• 1tablespoon baking powder
• 1teaspoon salt
• 1teaspoon nutmeg
• ¹⁄₄cup vegetable oil
• ³⁄₄cup milk
• 1egg
• 1teaspoon vanilla oil

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg until thoroughly blended.
2. Add oil, milk, egg and vanilla and mix well.
3. Heat oil to (?) degrees. Drop by spoon into hot oil.
4. Fry until light brown on both sides turning once.
5. Drain well on paper towels or brown paper bag.
6. Turn in or sprinkle with plain, powdered or cinnamon sugar while hot.
7. Your donut is ready to serve
