-Twitter is a platform of social media that allows people to "send and receive short posts called tweets."
-Individuals and businesses use Twitter because it is an inexpensive way for them to engage with their target market (or other people in general) and interact.
-The advantages of Twitter are that it is easy to join, it is free, people can promote work/events or share ideas, it is easy to meet new people and expand a target market, and it is a quick method of communication. The disadvantages of Twitter are that it has a limited message size (140 characters), videos cannot be uploaded (only links), tweets can easily become buried among other tweets, and there are many false profiles of people.
-Twitter's target audience is young adults, ages 18-24.
-I would use Twitter because I think it is a great way to be updated about new products companies are launching or to be notified about events occurring in the world.
