Since its establishment, LTBIW has developed and implemented a series of projects in formal and non-formal education aimed at the harmonious development of students of all ages. More than 8,000 children, 5,000 families and 400 teachers, both from high school and partner schools were involved in the projects initiated by LTBIW.

In the Anatolian Part of School, the education in the classes are in Turkish but students receive foreign language education in English and German as designated by the Anatolian High School Law. Our school is also known for its extraacurricular activities and sports teams.The school also organizes various theatrical and cultural activities and competitions . It also has a marching band fot the National Festivals.Erfelek Şehit Özkan Çelikkaya Multi Programmed Anatolian High School students are involved in many projects. Except our E -twinning project "My Nature My World", our school was involved in Erasmus projects ,too. The students has had the chance to visit 6 counties so far.

OUR MISSION AS ŞEHİT ÖZKAN ÇELİKKAYA MULTI-PROGRAMMED ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL; We work to raise students who fit the "GOOD" human model that our country needs, by using contemporary, universal and national values, scientific methods, in cooperation with teachers and parents.

The number of teachers in our school is 29, professional practice laboratory is 5, cafeteria is 1, number of students is 257, library is 1, classrooms are 13, number of books in the library is 3214.

Our school's class hours start at 08.20 in the morning and end at 15.20. Foreign languages in our school are English and German. The construction of the school building started on 25.01.1960 with the donations collected by the Secondary School Building Association, and in the following years, 200,000 TL allocated by the Ministry of National Education. It was completed with and 09.November. It was opened for education in 1964. Education and training in the high school department started in 1977. It consists of seven private teaching rooms, principal and deputy principal rooms, teachers' room and an officer's room. Student toilets are built outside the building. The plan published in the Communiqués magazine dated October 13, 1962 and numbered 716 is a "D" type building. The school is 1,100 meters away from the district center.

Normal education has been provided in our school since the 1990-1991 academic year. At the beginning of the same academic year, one branch of the middle section, which had two branches, was transferred to Erfelek Atatürk Primary School, and at the beginning of the 1991-1992 academic year, the other branches were transferred to Yunus Emre Primary School and education began to be provided only at the high school level. The garden area of the school is 6,880 m2. The area of the building is 320 m2.

Our school has turned into a Multi-Program High School where Electrical and High School Program types have been implemented since the 1999-2000 academic year, and the Computer Department has been opened to education since the 2001-2002 academic year. Since the above-mentioned building is physically insufficient, the old building of Yunus Emre Primary School was temporarily allocated to our school with the approval of the Sinop Governorate dated 27.04.2001 and numbered 7815, and since the 2001-2002 academic year, the Computer and Electrical departments have been continuing their education in this building. The annex building has 7 classrooms, 2 computer workshops and 3 electrical workshops.

While the name of our school was Erfelek Multi-Programmed High School, it was changed to ERFELEK ŞEHİT ÖZKAN ÇELİKKAYA MULTI-PROGRAMMED HIGH SCHOOL with the approval of Sinop Governorship dated 16.10.2009 and numbered 410/13215.
