         <description><![CDATA[<div>The activity where i used communication is enrollment day. I communicate by sharing my gcse results with Tommy who enrolled me and explaining why i want to do this course and my ideas of my career coming out of this course such as university or dream job. I feel like i did well as i successfully enrolled and got my place on the course. I feel like one thing i could improve is my confidence when talking as i am shy and find it hard when talking to new people.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The activity i used communication in is trying to get to know people in my class more and start to make friends. I used communication by talking to them outside class as well as talking to them in class as well as asking about things they enjoy and what they do. Many of the people i spoke to have some things in common so it was easy to talk to in some aspects. I feel like i did alright i could have been a bit better at communicating more because it took me a while before actually talking to people in my class as i find it difficult. So one thing i could improve is the time it took for me to actually talk to people in my class and get to know them. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The activity where i used communication is outside of college at my gymnastics club. I train almost every night so i communicate with my teammates and coach about improvements or just general conversation. I have only recently move to this club so the coach is still learning things about me and i am also learning stuff about the gym and how my coach works as it is different to my old club. I feel like sometimes i can be good at communicating as i ask my coach how to do skills or to support me when struggling with a skill however sometimes when i’m struggling in the session with either stress or other emotions i find it hard to communicate to her how i feel. This is difficult to me as i don’t know how she will react when i tell her how i feel but to improve my communication skills between my coach and help our bond grow i need to open up and communicate my feelings and thoughts towards her when i am training so she can support me.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The activity were I used teamwork was doing the MTA. We was separated into groups of around 7 and 8 and we was given things to build. My group used verbal and non verbal communication to try and build what we needed to. I believe this was successful as we managed to build what need to and at some points it was better to visually show the other people in our group what we was trying to to explain as well as just verbally saying what we need to do. I feel like we could improve our listening and listen to eachother and come to conclusion then rather just doing everyone else’s ideas as one. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The activity where i used teamwork was in my training sessions at gymnastics. We use teamwork to set up equipment for eachother so it doesn’t take a long time to set up on your own and waste valuable training time. We also used teamwork by communicating to help each other if one of us is stuck trying to learn a skill or unsure of what our coach means. We do this by either explaining the task to each other so we all come to an understanding or cheer each other on to help us achieve what we need to. I feel like this is successful teamwork as it brings us closer as a group and could benefit us at competitions where we are a team it also helps us feel supported by each other. I feel like one thing we could improve is expanding our teamwork outside the group to other squads and help them if they need.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In lessons i used teamwork within our table to either plan sessions in coaching lessons or work together on a task when asked to. One time where we used it was when i was put in a group of around 4 and was told to plan a session of badminton and focus on an underarm hit. We used verbal and non verbal communication to organize a session and presented it to the others in the class. It was a successful session and hit the aim of the session. I felt like we could have improved by all having the same input to the session as some others put more ideas in then others</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I volunteer after my training sessions on a Friday afternoon for 2 hours. During this time, i will coach along side 2 level 1 coaches in my gymnastics club. It is only a recreational squad as i am only qualified to coach that level. I am qualified at a level 0 coach in gymnastics and can support gymnasts in certain in skills if they are struggling. During this session, the gymnasts will warm up according to what the session plans says. This could be races, running etc. They will then do a warm-up, which sometimes i take. They will then start the aim of the session, this being based off the equipment: bars, beam, floor and vault.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>During college, i have helped out Calan with an athletics competition. I was on speed bounce counting the bounces of each participant. This was then recorded and added up for the schools score to go into the semi-finals. I then timed the participants race times when the races were being done. I cheered them on and explained to them if they was unsure on the type of race (mostly in relay races with multiple people). I recorded the time then gave it to Maddie, who was recording the scores. All the scores was then added up and then the winner was announced.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>On the way to college, i catch the free college bus there. This is better for the environment because it will keep less cars off the road that are causing more air pollution. Not only this but it will also save money being used on petrol as if i was to get dropped off the person will have to drive back home causing more air pollution. Whereas, the bus can go to bus station which is not as far as my house as it’s very close to the college. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I bring a water bottle to college every day so i can keep hydrated as well as saving the use of plastic bottles. Plastic bottles are non-biodegradable so therefore if they end up in the wrong place it can cause a lot of damage to the environment and wildlife in that area. Plastic bottles are also not reusable like water bottles. By using a water bottle, it is easier to fill and can be used for a long period of time rather than just buying plastic bottles each time. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When i go shopping, my family takes reusable bags for our shopping. This is so we don’t have to use plastic bags. The same as plastic bottles, plastic bags can cause a lot of damage to the environment if they get in the wrong place. by using a reusable bag, it is much easy to fit more things in without it breaking and also gives multiple use unlike a plastic bag. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>During my coaching sessions, i have delivered many coaching session. Most of these being gymnastics. I got feedback from this and i got told it was very good and met the aims of the session. The aim of the session was progressing from an isolated practice to a competitive practice. I use my experience from out side of college to help me develop my skills further when coaching in college. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I have started a part-time job at my gymnastics club. I do this job every Friday 4-7pm. The job consists of working with young children and help them advance their gymnastics. We do this by doing Rise Badges and focusing on certain components of gymnastics, such as balance, teamwork, strength and control. My own gymnastics ability and knowledge can help me provide improvements, support and demonstrate. This will help the young participants understand what they are doing more and help them master the skills they are learning to advance through their rise badges. </p>]]></description>
