Nigeria has a pyramid shaped population graph which means that they have high birth rates and high death rates. There are huge infant population but the working population decreases which can be because of several factors. This shows high infant mortality rate.  As you go up in the age column you will find that the death rate also decreases which suggests poor medical facilities and medications. 

Russia on the other hand has comparatively less infant population. However, they have a large working population. Moreover, there death rates are high as aged people populations are high.  

Russia has less living area to live comparatively. This is because there are lot of areas that are not discovered and areas where humans cannot settle like mountains, cold desert. In Russia the population is sparsely populated and Nigeria has dense population.
