"and its 1 2 3 What are we fighting for? dont ask me i dont give a d**n next stop is Vietnam." this lyric shows political aspects of the Vietnamese war, and shows how the us was hiding the war and its purpose from the citizens of the united states, they were just allowing people to know that there was a war and people were needed to fight in the war.

this song contributes to all three aspects of social political and economical. The social aspects it contributes to are the people not knowing what their fighting for they just know they're fighting, and another social aspect shown in this song is the part about the drafts and how its almost positive that you will return home dead with you are picked in the draft. The economic aspects brought into play is talking about wall street and how it has all trade tools in demand and they need to work more because there is plenty of money to be made if they produce to their best quality. Finally it politically represents the war with the part where it talks about them not knowing what they're fighting for they just know its in Vietnam this shows how the politics at the time didn't tell the citizens what this war was for.

This image shows how people only knew the soldiers were dying but were not informed what the war was for and the reason those lives were being taken for that war. Once a lot of people started coming home in a "box" that's when people wanted to know the real reason their family members were fighting for and why their family members were being killing.

This image showcases a protest on wall street during the Vietnamese war, this protest was to try and stop the production of trade goods for the Vietnamese war. So that way the soldiers wouldn't have enough weapons to fight with and would need to come home.

"well come on wall street dont be slow , why man this wars a-go-go there's plenty good money to be made supplyn' the army with the tools of the trade. " This economically shows how wall street had to produce all war trade products and they were being forced to produce at an alarmingly fast rate, although the war was frowned upon wall street was making a large amount of money.

"now come on mothers throughout the land pack your boys off to Vietnam come on fathers dont hesitate send your sons off before its too late be the first one your block to have your boy come home in a box." This socially shows how the Vietnamese war affected the citizens of the untied states. The drafts were a very controversial topic during the Vietnamese war and this line from the song shows how it negatively affected all the families on the home land.
