I feel like Articulation meetings were supposed to alleviate this issue and support our needs, but lately (except this past Wds) teachers haven't had time to work with their teams at all! When it is made at 11:30, the students often lose focus for the remaining 10-15 minutes of instructional time. I think it was a huge morale-builder and brought us together. Can we do that at another upcoming staff PLT with maybe a topic built in? Say, "how do you address a student who is disrupting the class?" or "what is your favorite read aloud to students - or what was yours when you were a student yourself?" Thanks for reading! :)
