How is air pollution affecting the environment?

• Air pollution and the release of gasses into the atmosphere can have many negativeeffects on the environment. Global warming - One type of air pollution is the addition of carbon dioxide gas into the air. ... Acid Rain - Acid rain is created when gasses such as sulfur dioxide get high into the atmosphere. On the past years the technology that we have is getting bigger, smarter, and more developed. And through the use of cars with fuels, factories with heavy smoke and bad smells.

(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ducksters.com/science/environment/air_pollution.php&ved=2ahUKEwjy99vZxZrjAhUUat4KHT85B3UQFjACegQIEBAI&usg=AOvVaw2i6O3K02J66Vw-rx0d7pOd)

• Despite decades of progress, the air quality in the United States has started to decline over the past few years, according to data provided in summer 2019 by the Environmental Protection Agency. The agency recorded 15 percent more days with unhealthy air in the country in 2018 and 2017 compared to the average from 2013 to 2016.

The reasons for the recent decline in air quality remain unclear, says the agency, but may be related to high numbers of wildfires, a warming climate, and increasing human consumption patterns driven by population growth and a strong economy. The long-term outlook also remains unclear, even as politicians debate air pollution standards.

• Like my answer on thw last question. We will have a really big problem.

What will happen if we don't stop air pollution?

•So, what would happen if pollution doesn't stop? Long-term exposure to pollutants can have permanent health effects. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, exposure to contaminants is directly linked to lung problems, heart disease, and cancer.

(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.naturetalkies.com/2018/12/03/pollution-in-the-future-what-would-happen-if-pollution-doesnt-stop/&ved=2ahUKEwjm09731YbjAhUaM94KHQDWB3QQFjABegQIARAJ&usg=AOvVaw0jLF23Ujs-8C3SmeOgRnzo)

•If you are exposed to very high levels of air pollutants, you may experience irritation of the eyes, nose andthroat, wheezing, coughing and breathing problems and have a greater risk of heart attacks. Air pollution can also exacerbate existing lung and heart conditions, like asthma.

(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://sciencing.com/negative-effects-pollution-5268664.html&ved=2ahUKEwjx9dfz1YbjAhVZEHAKHXSXCPUQFjAFegQIARAe&usg=AOvVaw2m8Vuf3G3Z_igJpKKLhXJG)

• I'm directing to the point that the o-zone will destroy and all of us will have a big problem to the scenario.

What is the relationship between Man and the Environment?

• The relationship between the man and the environment has been established in the early periods itself. Human beings live in the kingdom of nature and interact with it constantly. The influence of nature in the form of the air he breathes, the water he drinks, the food he eats, the clothes he/she wear, and the flow of energy and information.

• Nature is the whole of the physical world; it is also what exists outside of any human action. Man is innature but he acts upon it, thereby emancipating himself of it. He is part and apart of nature. The human–nature relationship is the object, in western societies at least, of contradictory representations.

(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0265931X03001802&ved=2ahUKEwial7z2xJrjAhXaMN4KHT4kBO8QFjADegQIEBAK&usg=AOvVaw3gURikhCaIADDXIXLhRGLc)

• We a human being need to eat, sleep, have a shelter, air, clothes and water. Nature is the only one that solve our problem through our food, water, shelter, and clothes.

What are the 3 main causes of air pollution?

• The combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and other factory combustibles is a major cause of air pollution. ... Meanwhile, emissions caused by gasoline-burning vehicles – i.e. CO, CO², nitrogen oxides, particulates and water vapor – are also a significant source of air pollution.

(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://phys.org/news/2016-04-air-pollution.amp&ved=2ahUKEwiiiM3o1objAhXZAYgKHbOcDhwQFjACegQIEhAK&usg=AOvVaw0Icu3bEDL1Y1VG7vHMIWPz&ampcf=1)

•Types of Air Pollution

Nitrogen oxides are produced when nitrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere come together at high temperatures. ...

Sulfur oxides include sulfur dioxide (SO2) and sulfur trioxide (SO3). ...

Particulates are solid particles, such as ash, dust, and fecal matter (Figure below).

(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ck12.org/earth-science/types-of-air-pollution/lesson/Types-of-Air-Pollution-HS-ES/&ved=2ahUKEwjSupPUw5rjAhUJfd4KHQQfDHkQFjAIegQIEBAf&usg=AOvVaw2m8zc2FMaxJ6EPKuEsIIzW)

• For me the Top 3 Main Causes of Air Pollution are:
1. Factories - are using machines that need fuels and that machines over used so that. Machine produced black smoked a polluted smoke.

2. Cars and Transfortation - cars is also a machine that needs fuel so that when you over used it. So that the car produce a polluted smoke.

3. Smoking and Smoking Trash - Almost all Filipino Families are smoking their trash. And little they know, it destroy our o-zone layer.

• The best way to reduce the levels of carbon dioxide in the air is to use energy more efficiently and to reduce the combustion of fossil fuels by using alternative energy sources (e.g., nuclear, wind, tidal, and solar power).

• Reducing pollutants in the air is important for human health and the environment.

Poor air quality has harmful effects on human health, particularly the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.

Pollutants can also damage plants and buildings, and smoke or haze can reduce visibility.

• For me I think its the best to decrease factories, gases caming from cars, and also burning of their trash. For cars I think its better to use a non-fuel machine also in the factories. And, its a positive way to reduce the pollution in air.
