The amount of water does affect the number of seeds germinated in 72 hours. Evidence to support this claim comes from the data table which states that 5 ml of water germinated 2 seeds, 10 ml of water germinated 8 seeds, 15 ml of water germinated 9 seeds, and 20 ml of water germinated 7 seeds. This proves that the amount of water affects the number of seeds germinated because water helps expand the seed, delivers dissloved oxegen, and activates enzymes for resperation which provides energy fro growth to the seeds. So having an appropriate amount of water helps the seeds grow.

PH does affect the number of isopods in the choice container in 10 minutes. Evidence from the data table shows that almost all of the isopods chose to stay in the side with water for the whole 10 minutes. This proves that PH does affect the number of isopods in the choice container in 10 minutes because isopods live in damp and humid enviornments which do not contain vinegar, so when the isopods came into contact with vinegar, they posed it as a threat and stayed away from it.

The amount of nutrient increases the growth of duckweed because it contains important nutrients. The chart shows that the cup that had 10 drops of nutrience, went from 10, 14, 15, 14, then 12 during the duration of experiement. The cup with 15 drops went from 10, 12, 15, then 13. And the cup with 20 drops went from 10, 11, 12, 15, then 18. The cup with 5 drops is considered an outlier because it had inconsistent data. This evidence proves the claim that the amount of nutrient increases the growth of duckweed because it contains important nutrients like nitrates and phosphates that help the plant grow and reproduce.

The proximity to water increases the biodiversity of insects because insects are hatched in the water. For example the hill traps, which were the furthest away from the water, had the least amount of biodiversity because the richness was 6, abundance was 34, and the sdi was 0.45. The traps set up in the areas closest to the water, which were the marsh and the bridge had the largest biodiversity because the richnesses were 11 and 11, the abundance was 23 and 34, and the sdi's were 0.88 and 0.76. This proves that the proximity to water increases the biodiversity of insects because insects are hatched in the water because most of the biodiversity is near the water because they hatch there.

Light affects the CO2 levels in a container w/ spinach leaves because of the cycle of photosynthesis and respiration. In the light data table, the spinach leaves had an average change was -400 of CO2. And in the dark data table, the average change in CO2 was around 750. This shows that light affects the CO2 levels in a container with spinach leaves because of the cycle of photosynthesis and respiration because in the light container both photosynthesis and respiration are taking and producing CO2. While in the dark container, only respiration is happening, so only CO2 is being produced which increases the amount of CO2.

Germination does affect the amount of CO2 produced because of cellular respiration. The evidence showed that the change in germinating seeds was +115 and the change in the dormant seeds was only +4. This shows that germination does affect the amount of CO2 produced because of cellular respiration because the germinated seeds are producing CO2, while in the dormant seeds are not producing CO2 because cells are actively working while the dormant cells are not.

CER:

The concentration of sugar water does affect the % mass change in potatoes because of osmosis. For example, the chart states that in 0.2 sucrose concentration, the change was 6.2. Another example is .4, which had a % change was -16.7. This proves that the concentration of sugar water does affect the % mass change in potatoes because of osmosis. Osmosis is the process by which the molecules of a solvent pass from a solution of highconcentration to a solution of low concentration through a semi-permeable membrane. In concentrations 0.2 and below, a hypotonic process happens that causes the cells to expand, increasing their mass. While in concentrations above 0.2, a hypertonic process happens where the cells shrivel up, causing a decrease in mass.
