Tower name: TOWER

We feel very proud because this tower is tall.

It was challenging to make the resources balance on top of each other. Also, when it was our turn to look for the resources, we couldn't find more than a few scraps. We overcame it by asking other teams to share the resources, and the team with the most resources shared a lot of it. Some of the teams were greedy, but we found some teams that were generous.

The class order affected our tower because by the time we went out, only a few scraps were left. Also, we went at the same time as Group 5. It first made us frustrated, but when we saw the other classes, we were grateful.

1. We were furious because we were the last ones to pick our resources, only because our number was ‘5’.

   ➡️ Also, Ms. Brne gave benefit to group 1, helping them to build the tower higher, even they could use chairs.

2. The most challenging part of building the tower was that we couldn’t use tape or glue, and we didn’t get a box OR big materials, but other groups did! No one was generous to us, but they were generous to other groups.😡

3. Of course, the class order affected the tower! The others got big materials while we got small ones. We were so angry with them, especially Ms. Brne, who said she kind of HAD to make us angry/

We felt very proud because we built the tower very fast but it worked so that is why we were proud.

2) What was the most challenging part of building the tower?

The most challenging part of building the tower was that our opinions were different so it was hard to agree and to put the resources or not.

3) Do you think the class order affected your tower? How did that make your group feel?

We thought that the class order affected our tower because the first two classes took all the resources. We thought it was so unfair and we were very angry.

1: I feel proud of my work because it kind of looks creative, and even though we didn't have any pens left, we thought and got all of the things we have, such as pens and things, so that it is high!

2: I think when we did the top part, we were nervous because there was no balance between the pens. S, one part of it was falling down, and one part was high so it became diagonal. So, it was hard to actually be accurate.

3: Yes, because if we had had more materials, we would have been making a better and higher tower. Also, it made me frustrated, because we needed the material to make a better tower, but since there were none, it was hard to make a fantastic one.

Answer 2. The challenging part of building the tower for me was making the tower stable. It was also difficult to gather so many opinions into one when making a decision.

Answer 3. The class order affected our tower really much. Some classes got all of the boxes and materials, which made some of the classes have none of them

. It was unfair. And I am a little cross about it. Plus, the standard, the rule of tower making, was unclear. Some classes used tape, and some classes made their tower at the desk.

Answer 2. I think the bottom one is most challenging because it needs to be well supported from below so that it can be easily stacked on top.

Answer 3. The class order affected to our tower really much some classes use cubbies, and tapes. I think it is unfair.

This tower activities impacted on collaboration because when we are doing tower challenge, we need to talk so it can impacted on collaboration skills.

2) I was struggling to make the bottle stand straight. But our group makes it stand straight. We balanced it well to make it straight.

3) It was unfair to use tape and making a tower al together and our tower broke. It was so unfair.

I didn't fell good because they could use tape and we could't use tape. Also they had bigger groups.

The most challenging part was making our tower stable and balanced. Due to limited resources, we were unable to make our tower as stable as the other towers.

The class order and who we worked with impacted our work. And how other classes got to use tape, but we couldn't use it, which made me feel very upset and feel unfair. Also, how our tower collapsed because of too many people moving around, I felt a little sad and disappointed.

I think if our class had all worked together and used tape, we could have made the highest tower.

2) The most challenging part of building this tower was making it strong. Additionally, it was challenging to work as a team because we had differing ideas, but we had to consolidate them into one suggestion. Plus, balancing the boxes and other things was tricky.

3) I think that it affected our tower because of the materials. We have to pick the materials first. I thought that it was unfair because in some classes, they were using tape, and there was a class that worked together as a class, not in groups. Even though the materials that we used are different, we used them in different ways. At first, I did not quite understand what we were doing because I did not know the goal of making this tower.

2.) The most challenging part was standing the bottles on bottles. The bottles were keep falling but our team mates finally did it!

3.) I think the class order affected the tower because when we get into first, we can get more and good materials to build our tower. And it made our team feel little bit disappointing because we didn't know what to bring and what to use, so we brought anything that seem useful and made our tower. 😓

I felt proud because we had a crazy process of making it and the reason that I was really proud is we were really having good(maybe?)teamwork and was 1st place (I think or maybe 2nd) in our classroom.

2. What was the most challenging part of building the tower?

The most challenging part was balancing the lego and stopping Rohan to stop putting legos and having a LOT of tension building the tower.

3) Do you think the class order affected your tower? How did that make your group feel?

I think it effected the tower because since we got first, we get to have many materials but the last team got to use a lot of other materials like tape, water bottle , cubbies, etc... like that. But I didn't feel mad or angry, but I think this is a little unfair because for like FSF, they built the tower altogether so they were a lot longer and for like VB and YP, they had a lot of materials in their classroom and they could use all of them.

2. I like to doing team work and tower but when some body brok the our building it so sad.

Question2 - The most challenging part was Balancing lego.

Question3 - last class did not had any of the box so I thought life is unfair.

2: My challange was to make most stable tower because the tower falling and falling.

3: My group feel unfair because we don't use tape and only use things we bring. But other classes use tape a lot, and use their water bottles and othe things. So, their towers are stronger than ours.

Our thoughts: We understand that the class order was unfair (because we were most affected), but we thought that others shouldn't blame us for taking every little piece, because we only used paper. Still, we understand because nothing changes even if we blame them. ^^;

We just hoped ppl would be charitable. Please stop blaming us for our situation - it was not intended; it happened because of some people's values and thinking.

Still, we believe that our class successfully constructed a tall tower despite what some ppl believe. We got a lot of mean comments, not criticism, comments about how their tower was taller than ours. Don't compare - this is just a provocation project. Just that ur tower is tall does not mean you will pursue a good job later on. Your life does not depend on this project. It proves that you need to be more charitable;)

We felt a little bit scared because the tower was unsafe. We wanted to use a MacBook, but it was for pictures and padlet we are doing right now. If we do it one more time, it would be more fun and it would be fair. We were actually scared when we added the box at the bottom. It first broke, so I added books inside so it wouldn't fall. I think the class order affected our group because all the classes got all the materials, and I think we should have started at the same time.

When they get out to collect the resources, maybe they could felt simliar with G5FSF because they went out almost last.

If they see our tower, maybe they could wonder how they made their tower without tape and glue. Also, they might wonder why they had less resources but their tower look different compared to G5YP.

They might belive that their towers are very tall and include some school suplies.

They might deeply care about their tower to be tall and stable.

G5YP used resources like tape, rulers, and scrap papers with less limitation. We think that 5YP used resources in the classroom because there were none outside. So Mr. Yaseen gave them permission to use things from their classroom.

5YP cares about building the tallest tower. Because they really wanted to win, so they used tapes even though Mr. Yaseen said no.

When 5YP walked into our class, they might have wondered, "Why did they only use scrap paper and boxes?" or "How did they make that with fewer resources than the many we used?"

What can they see, notice, or observe?

We think that G5VB students saw a little amount of resources left and felt excited, and took all that are left. Maybe this is the reason why we didn't get use plastic supplies.

What might they believe to be true?

We believe that G5VB students thought that they can build the tower higher by using more resources.

What might they deeply care about?

They seemed that winning was really important to them.

What might they question or wonder?

We think that other class might have questions like:

Why did 5FSF use only paper to build there tower?

1) Connie ❤️ : I felt the tower was a little unsteady, because of the thin books and less tapes, but I also thought it's tall enough too!

2) Eun 🧡 : l felt the tower was not ready yet and felt worried if the tower fall down and break. The group make me feel mad about VB because they take almost all of the sources that our class didn't have chance to make it tall and strong.

3) Lauren & Nayoon 💚 : Of course it was extremely unfair for us because VB Taked all of the resources . When we have a opportunity to go 2nd , I think we will have much more open - environment that we could make our towers more in advanced way .

We observe that G5YP only used tape. It was unfair. We feel unfair because we think we could do better when we used tape too. I think they might deeply care about how nobody told them they could take as much as they want. They might question why we get to use tape unlike very other class.

G5VB was taking all of the resources and did not lefted for classmates after them . I think they should left some of them not taking all of it . Taking all of the resources are one of the kind of healthy greedy desire , and it was essential to left some of the materials . However , we think that is not their fault and have a part that we can understand . Of course materials are their to use , but for other peers , they would feel like us , and be upseted and unfair .

Eventhough if we used resources like tapes , We were rejected for the competition , and we think we are the most victim that required harmful strageties. Mr. Yaseen also mentioned we could use class resources , even tapes were avaliable, we are guilty to get strong messages that were unfair for especially for G5VB WHo had most of the resources. We agree how G5VB Could be upseted , But pls don't give us a strong message :)
