:Written accordingly to the fairytale website

This story starts with three sons who happen to be sent to the forest to cut down wood and with them their mother would give them a cake and some wine. In the forest each son would end up walking past an elderly man who was very thirsty and hungry. All sons would end up walking right past the man except for the third son who would share a cake and a wine with the old man. As a result of being kind to the old man he would let him cut down the tree to find some luck within. From there on he would find a golden goose in the roots of the tree.

After having found the goose the son would end up spending the night at an inn where the host, who had 3 daughters all both curious about the goose and tempted to take a feather from.

The next morning the son would grab the goose and set off to the city.

However while leaving the 3 daughters would follow in bit for the feather.

The Juniper tree is one of the fairy tales I like. I chose it because it is one of the less known fairy tales. At the beginning of the story the step mum kills her step son so that her daughter can inherit the rich father's fortune. In the middle of the story the step-sister buries the bones under the juniper tree. At the end of the story a bird flys around collecting items like a millstone, a necklace and a pair of shoes then the bird drops the millstone on the step mums head and the others at the farther and step sisters feet and the boy comes back and they live happly ever after.
