         <description><![CDATA[<p>Bonnie Monteleone is a member of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation board. She is located in Wilmington, I will ask her to come into the classroom after the first lesson. In her classroom visit, she will educate the children on some of North Carolina's endangered species and the general concepts of endangered species, like why they are endangered. The students will get to discuss with her and ask any questions. At the end of the unit, students will get to share their projects with Bonnie and show her all that they are endangered species "experts." </p>]]></description>

In the class Google Slides, students will use emojis to describe what they learned from the guest speaker on their slide. This will also indicate their reactions and feelings about what they learned. The students will have to explain why they picked each emoji. </p>]]></description>
